I think she's a good singer, the audio on this track isn't good either. But I also think she doesn't have that powerful of a voice to begin with. Simone is a mezzo-soprano, compare her voice in a live setting to another Soprano, Tarja Turonen (formerly of Nightwish), They're both good, but Tarja has a much more powerful voice.

However I've never seen her live so can't really compare properly. And yes, Simone has a very warm voice and can hit high notes in a wonderfull manner which is what I love about her voice so much. Tarja's voice tends to sound a bit more.. Harsh for lack of better word. Which too, is downright awesome. ^^

Uh? no. That would only be true if you deliberately misread my comment. One does not follow the other. They have roughtly comparable vocal ranges. As a mezzo soprano Simone has a slightly lower voice than Tarja I think, but it's hard to tell because Tarja has a large vocal range. However, as a completely seperate matter Tarja has a much more powerful quasi-operatic delivery.
