  • Comment removed

  • That's how to do it.

  • dat doen ze de hele tijd in frankrijk even botsen tegen iemands auto als ze eruit moeten

onze voor bumper zat vol krassen na een vakantietje frankrijk

  • he need a bike for her self

  • Common courtesy in France. Surely you jest

  • jullie komen uit NL. Of Niet??????????

  • so i guess its normal in france if u return to ur car n theres bump here n there...if u did tht in malaysia...that an extra $100 each car....

  • Respekt!!!

  • that's French Parking - it's normal

but, DON'T do this in Germany , you would be killed

  • Apparently it's common in Paris not to put the hand-break on so people can push the other car a bit to make room.

  • it looks like he has done that before :D

  • That space looks to small to park this person should have the common sense to know that.

  • @Dimitri0809 space is a luxury in Paris

  • what else are bumpers for... maybe he was the one who got locked in

  • Would have been funny if just as he was pulling away after all that, the driver of one of the cars came back and pulled away! :0P

  • if it was french parking he would have pushed the car behind him away.french cars like freedom.

  • 0:58 there is a HIT :D

  • a frenchman would have just pushed the other cars away with his car.

  • whats that bell sound

  • @david292978 That bell rings every time the driver hits the car behind him.

  • i parked my car once in such a small place... the next day my father couldnt understand how i manage to do it, when he had to "unpark" it..

  • Where's that bell ringing from?

  • was soll daran so besonders sein, kann hier niemand autofahren?

  • c-c-c-combo breaker

  • I see so many american whinning about how to drive on youtube, so fellow Americans WATCH AND LEARN.

  • haha ja? NEE!

  • 2 more hits and youll get an extra life

  • 1:11, the dude casual strolls past like, you mad?

    U MAD?

  • In Romania if someone isn't letting enought space for getting out ... he get's his tyres bursted. or his window breaked ...lol ...

  • @hobitut I like how Romania rolls.

  • @SPQRImperator lol :)) you obviously must been joking :D ... seriously in Franch people are real nice ... compared to oure drivers :|

  • @hobitut Hey, I'm just saying it should be common courtesy to let other driver's have enough space to manuver out. Anything less is selfish.

  • @SPQRImperator my grandparents went to france and they were told that people often nudge each others cars out of a parking spot to get in or out. it is socially accepted and the cops dont really care

  • @evilman210 Very interesting. Well, when in Rome--erm, Paris, do as the Parisians do. lol

  • @SPQRImperator so with you on this

  • @SPQRImperator LOL you can always manuver out and never have courtesy in Paris that s my advice

  • Everbody knows : don't use your prking breake in France!

  • @GunnarOlaf it's on a hill...

  • The problem here is the car in middle parked too close to the person in front of them, and then the car behind them did the samething, so there wasn't space in front or back of the car. He should have atleast given the car in front of him some space enough that he could have gotten out easier.

  • @skeasessj Thank you. In Poland, you could be lynched by other people for this. Another matter is not much people park like that, but if they park, they're feeling like holy cows, but on the road they can't drive and in every occasion they use the horn and say "how the f*ck you're driving man?". Even when you didn't see them and didn't want to do it and apologize.

  • I've heard, that in Paris nobody use handbrake when the car is parked for someone who wants to get out from this kind of situation can move other cars several cents. Is it true?

  • @marvu00 yes, some even consider it rude to apply the parking brake.

  • bing xD

  • id get a piece of shit car if I went there and not give 2 shits if people parked right behind me id just scoot em over a bit... But I generally don't care about parking as close as I can, don't mind walking a little to get where I want so meh...

  • I feel sorry for those front tyres.

  • gelukkig heeft hij stuurbekrachtiging ;)

  • nice. you went to metric for paris

Paris Guy: What the F3ck is Inches

Other Paris Guy: IDK oui oui

  • 'jaaa, nei, nei, nei. '

  • i'd drive the biggest piece of shit truck, its a win win if somebody parks you in like that

  • It's not called a bumper for nothing.

  • @PepeLeWunderkind nice nice, agree!! :)

  • obviously dry turning isnt a problem in france

  • when someone press your car so much you cannot even move it, its acceptable

  • 244k views? i need someone to take a vid of me driving everyday

  • Its crazy but its not rare to see people get out like that.

  • THATS WHY I WONT LIVE IN A CITY

  • This is fake.. If it was really french, the other cars would have surrendered and let him out

  • @WestonVonWellington So funny coming from a person never participating in war :D

  • @WestonVonWellington "This is fake.. If it was really french, the other cars would have surrendered and let him out" --> have you forget that your fat country is independant because of France ? Wanker....

  • @AttackTheGasStation1 you forget that france would be speaking german if it wasn't for my country

  • @WestonVonWellington I just find weird the fact that a fat yank makes fun about France while his own fat country were totally unable to gain its independance without France. This is funny. France has won 10times more wars than your fat country..lol

Another thing, if it wasn't for USA, my dear country would be speaking russian. But I perfectly know that history and education aren't the high spot of american culture.

  • @AttackTheGasStation1 really? 10 times more wars? why don't you name a few? you need to brush up on your history

  • @WestonVonWellington "really? 10 times more wars? why don't you name a few? you need to brush up on your history"

--> militaryfactory [ french military victories ] Check this website and enjoy. The day when USA will have been involved in more wars than France, the day when USA will have won more wars than France, so that fucking day hens will have teeth and pigs will fly...

  • @WestonVonWellington France is continually involved in wars since more than a millenium, and I hope your country will never know hell on Earth as France did during the Battle of Verdun in 1916.

Keep making your fun about France, the French perfectly know what would be your country without their contribution.

Napoleon sold Louisiana ( 1/3 USA territory ) for nothing in 1802. Says it all.

  • @AttackTheGasStation1

    1. Louisiana purchase was in 1803

    2. we bought it for 15 million dollars, plus we cancelled France's debts

    3. we supply france with all of there weapons for their meager little quarrels

learn some history and politics why don't ya

  • Now try doing that in a steep hill climb with a manual like sometimes i do....

  • No wonder Escalade sales are bad overseas.

  • Every car in Paris has a dent-it's the fashion nowadays:)

Nederlanders; jullie parkeren ook zoooo slecht :)

  • Haha 'kan toch noooit'

  • That's why the Peugeot 206 is built like a bumper car for children - with strong rubber bumpers.

  • thats how the french park, go almost everywhere in paris and you will see cars parked close like this, even audi's and expensive cars, they have a thing where they dont care for damage or pay for it, i forgot what the actuall thing is called, but thats why you will see loads od cars with dents etc lol.. ive drove to paris a few times, i was abit sceptical at first because of how they park as last thing i want is a dented car on holiday lol..

  • comment bien faire des trous dans ses pneus avant..

  • holllaaaanders xd

  • I wish American cars still had actual bumper strips....cuz stuff will hit your bumper eventually. Instead, if our cars even have bumpers, they'll scratch if you hit a pillow.

  • hit the jeep one more time and you'll get 10,000 points

  • DINGGGG

  • have you ever seen the streets in Southern Italy?

  • Good job ! That's how it's done. Touching smooth, no scratches...

  • even a baby comes out faster.....

  • hahah my middle name is bumper!!!!

  • I swear to myself, if I ever go to france I'm not renting a car. Screw that I have no tolerance for this shit. I can just c myself coming out of the store & trying of getting out of a tight spot like this. CRAZZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

  • What is ding ding ding !!!!

  • It's called BUMPer ^^

  • waarom hoor ik steeds een bel als hij de bumper raakt?

  • man, thats it jungle bush bars it is

  • When I get my license have to be able to do here is a storage slot on with the big cylindered here makes it difficult

  • What do you mean "she is trying"? She _is_ parking out! And no kidding: i'd do the same. You cannot have a car in the city if you sh** your pants about getting your bumpers bumped.

  • french are obviously stupid ppl.

too much of snail 4 dinner.

  • @tahi16 Americans are too stupid to Hamburger with peanut butter * weed *

  • Hahaha Of course you have to crash for it

  • ur fucked if u ent got powersteering...

  • HUH hoe deed hij dat!!!!

  • Now I'd like to see someone get into that spot.

  • lol, stelletje Hollanders zal ook niet effe helpen ofzo..

  • on vous enmerde les americans avecc votre pays de merde

  • Great driver.

  • It's normal in Europe ...

  • @myXmusicXchannel

No, it's really not normal in europe. Only in Paris I think.

I've never seen it, and I live in the Netherlands, I've been to France, but never to Paris, and where I've been, they didn't park like this.

  • @myXmusicXchannel u kidding? :D

  • @Unlorrd I don't know how is with parking in germany, but i poland its pretty normal.

  • to the thegay guy i know, shit if it were me, them asses parked that close they deserve it!!! but thats just detroit style!!!!LOL

  • Exactly, Spain, France, Italy, Greece and some other countries is enough to call it all around Europe. Anyway it is not so rare to be astonished by this. Actually, its efficient space usage. Indeed, I am more suprised when I slightly touch a car during parking and the owner goes crazy, almost calling police when there´s no mark or anything. This people is just crazy, bumpers are made for that exactly.

  • You can see this all around Europe capitals every day. Not a big deal really. The bad thing is if you have an old car and dont have servo direction.

  • @amigovino thats NOT true. I know this kind of parking only from french, italian and maybe in spain. In all other Europe countries and capitals cars are too much of a status symbol to treat them this way. Even old cars!

  • did he get in there like this, too? xD

  • Heh, yeah I'd have nudged one of those cars with my car to get it out of the damn way.

  • whats that bell?

  • I lived in Paris for many years, this is standard practice to get your car in or out of a parking bay. Needless to say you don't take a new car there if you can avoid it. Bull bars on a 4x4 are very handy. The real bummer is when a big motor bike parks across the bay blocking you in, I saw a couple of motor bikes go crashing to the ground one night, the car driver wisely took to the hills.

  • i'VE DONE THIS BEFORE IN EL SALVADOR

  • that really pisses me off when it happens to me

  • at least he has good bumpers,

  • French people park on roundabouts, it's true!

  • next time buy a SMART

  • What's the ding for/from?

  • Haha nog door nederlanders gefilmt,

dit is in spanje ook zo !!

  • it's gently.. normal in paris it's BOOM...BOOM...BOOM.. i'm out...

  • @TheGayjudoka wow relly ? if some one would bump in to my car like that i would be agry as hell... and if i saw that i would go to that car and fucking pull the person out and smack his face so hard..

  • @3l3 And then I'd come out and shoot you with my defense gun stored in the middle compartment for parking so close to me and slapping me for it. You better watch how you speak because I have defense purpose guns for guys like you.

  • @kzalldaz well well well u can always try. listen if someone is bumping in to my new car like that lets say that i did own a pretty new bmw or mercedes i would beat the shit out of u. and if u careing a gun lets go i would snap your fingers of and the use ur on gun against u.. come on now pfff plz so u say that it is ok to bump in to ohters ppl´s cars wow u must be a dumb fuck. and lets get this straight i would NEVER park that close to anohter car i never do that shit...

  • @3l3 Well good that you won't. Just sayin that if someone on the street slapped me because he parked too close and I bumped him then he would see the barrel.

  • @TheGayjudoka lol i commented to but ment to reply it

  • @TheGayjudoka

and thats why hardly anybody uses their parking brake in paris, so that the car can get pushed a little bit back and forth

  • @TheGayjudoka r u 4 reals man?!!! here in the U S of A, us americans will be pissed!!!! hahaha.

  • Its normal in France!!!

  • xD, great.

  • all of you should bear in mind that the vast vast majority of cars in france are manuals which makes this all the more impressive...

  • if you are used to your clutch, driving a manual is easier than driving an automatic

  • how so?

  • a 206... a french person.... cud this video have fulfiled the stereotype any further!

  • Ding, lol, that sound is the best of this video.

  • Perfect, thats exactly what I'd have done. I like to get into tight parking spots by using a shop window to see my reflection, when you've got one that is, else just do what this guy did. I mean if people are gonna park that close, what do they expect?

  • i would wait for both drivers who parked there and bitch slap them

  • as long as therr no hardcore dents its fine

  • Was that supposed to be impressive? Any average driver could get out of that space in about 5 manouvers which is what that person did.

  • average driver = wemen = fail.

  • lol the french have really stupid laws then. I mean if you guys have to keep your cars although you have no room to park them, just make everything one way streets. you'd be able to park more cars diagonally, wouldn't have to have stupid laws, there wouldn't be nearly as much damage to everyones cars, and it would go lovely with all the stupid round-abouts over there! :P

  • if cars were meant to be parked like this they would have stiff rubber bumpers capable of pushing the other cars without damaging either vehicle. and not leaving the parking brake on. are you kidding. whats supposed to stop the car from rolling down hill. if you cities are that cramped for space parking, maybe you should all use bikes. you supposed to be all into the fit and eco-friendly stuff anyways.

  • That's what bumpers are meant for,

  • prachtig.. Maareh dit doe ik sowieso al niet. Ik zou nog een drankje bestellen en wachten tot één van de twee auto's voor of achter mij vertrokken :P

  • its parking like that where its easier to just drag the car out by pulling from the wheel arch!!

  • I love how I got a thumbs down.. I understand that there's very little parking in Paris.. but there's no reason to park this close to people.. I would push cars or trucks forward with my truck until I had the room to get out.. Where I live we leave 3-4 feet in front and back..

  • Poor power steering :(

  • if you ask me.. I think that if someone parks that close to your car or anyones for that matter.. you should expect a few dings on your car.. Does anyone know if they have Parking Control Officers in Paris..? (By Law..) if you make a scratch or a dent on the persons car that parked too close to you.. don't feel bad.. I think they'd deserve it.. I think this is stupidness parking close like this..

  • actually that is quite normal in europe, because there's simply not enough space to park!

  • LOL is it you driving that car? hehe

  • @2Roenick7 Your supposed to push the other car if necessary. That's why you're not allowed to leave your car in park if you have an automatic transmission. That's what bumpers are for. You have to park that close, it's the law. It's not stupid, it's called saving as much space as possible so as much people as possible can park.

  • @Shechshire: The Law..? WOW..! if you park that close here, you will get ticketed.. See I never knew it was "The Law" .. if someone would have said that in the beginning, then I would have came back to this video :) Thanks for the info.. as they would say in french "Merci beaucoup.." :)

  • @2Roenick7 no problem. The thing is that in most places like France in Europe, you have other means of transportation like cycle, bus, or monorail and not to mention plenty and plenty of sidewalks. Here in the u.s. everything just revolves around car transport. I mean, if it went for the fact that someone would most likely run me over, I would start riding my bike and start taking public transit if it weren't so bad and dangerous like it is here just to save gas money.

  • That's not true. Big cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, and San Francisco have great transportation via buses, trains, and other forms. I know people who take the bus to the train then walk to work in New York. I take the metro train half the days into work in L.A.

  • @famousamosguy yea but see here's the thing though, the majority of the cities' actual useful and accessible transportation is just usually in the downtown area. or at least here in Miami it is. so, for example. my friend jimmy who has to go to work using the metro has to cross an eight lane road called okechobee which does not have any cross walks nor any side walks.

  • @famousamosguy after which he has to walk about (I'de say at least 5 miles) (on mostly grass) before he can get to a very secluded and inaccessible metro. which no busses from his area transit to. and even if he did go beyond his area to find a bus that does go their he would still have to walk a few miles and still have to cross dangerous streets with no cross walk just to get to those busses.

  • @famousamosguy and lt's not even get started on riding bicycle. I remember before I didn't have a car I used to ride on a bicycle to be able to get to places... what a headache that was! Not to mention dangerous since every one want's to run you over.

  • @famousamosguy oh and by the way. Those cities you mentioned have very large urban areas that allow for that type of transportation.

  • Yes, I understand but the majority of big cities. Granted, Miami might not, but you understand.

  • @famousamosguy yea but, when you say "the majority of big cities" in reality what that really means in reality is a dozen or so cities in the u.s..

  • Ok but that makes sense. Obviously you're not going to have a huge train system in say Topeka, Kansas because most likely people who live there don't go to far to get to places for work or even have to deal with traffic. It makes sense to have trains and lots of buses in big cities.

  • @famousamosguy right, that's my point. The point is that America is mostly made up of suburbs that impede the public transit system and not only that but there should still be a means to be able to cross a road without being killed in suburbs regardless.

  • I don't understand what you mean when you say "you aren't able to cross a road without being killed in suburbs", because I can ride my bike casually around the streets and not worry about. Same with walking.

  • @famousamosguy I was referring to the fact that many streets (some very large busy dangerous streets like okechobee as an example) don't have cross walks nor side walks so cars typically aren't going to expectingly yield to you. here you can ride your bike on the side walk. most cops will tell you to get off the road because it obviously impedes traffic since cars are faster than bicycles. most cars want to run you over and there is people that get ran over often here in Miami-dade.

  • That's crazy because you can receive a ticket for riding your bike on a sidewalk here. Normally, people don't get ran over here but you still hear about it.

  • @famousamosguy yup, and that's when theirs a sidewalk to begin with. When I didn't have a car I used have to ride through grass, mud, ROCKS, and gravel. If I knew how bad it was going to be I would of bought a mountain bike lol

  • It's "the law"? Interesting legal system you got there in France, if that's true, which I'm 99.9% sure it's not...

  • @electrogear well I mean, some kind of municipality personnel will tell you something. In Greece, you can call the municality to report things of that nature. Like let's say someone parking in a bike lane.

  • ive had that once... when i was 16 years and and all the waiters of that restaurant in front cheering me up... i got a hoorey when i finished lol was fun

  • that's not french parking. that's parking paris style.

    ;)

  • been me id would have just pushed them!!

  • Whoever that was did quite well actually.. Bumpers are called bumpers for a reason

  • @Cytacon I agree with you on this one. Granted I wouldn't be happy with someone repeatedly bumping my car but it won't hurt it.

  • Well: If you would park to somebody THAT close, I think you can expect some "bumping"

  • Hit the jeep again and you will get 1000 points!

  • what's with the bell?

  • The trick is not to get out of parking like that (happened often enough to me) but IN :-)

And: What are BUMPER bars there for if people complain about you "bumping" them (I hate those painted ones... nice black and rubbery= perfect for something like that!)

The best compliment I ever had was as women saying to the men next to me (after I gotten out of the car): "How did he get in there??" :-) (And I was driving a rental car which I never drove before with no reverse sensors)
