How long has it taken you to get your hair to that length? And how did you get achieve it to be so long? Like what products, techniques ect... Please help me out, I love your videos by the way girl! Xx
Have you tried twists with the satin strips? If so are the results similar to the braid out & do which twist method do you like better? Thx 4 your time :o)
nina ive been wearing my hair in twist outs all throughout my transition and i keep it very moisturized but i can never maintain my ends no matter what.
i also do the thing where i twist the ends to lock them, do you think that could be wearing my ends down?
Could you make a video of the shampoo and conditioners you used while transitioning (at least the main ones) and another video of how u flat iron ur hair (espedicially at the demarcation line and relaxed ends)? Thanks
@QueinSiingah- Hi since i know the answer im just going to tell you for nina, hope thats ok cuz she says it in her videos, she has been transitioning for 16 months and she hasn't dont the big chop and doesn't on doing it til jan. 2012(maybe) hope that helps HHJ :)
You are helping me so much with this transitioning phase, but I feel like my hair is growing fast enough (any tips?). This twist out is my favorite style so far. I can not wait to try it.
your twistout is so pretty. i always try to separate my twists like you do, but it ends up frizzy that way so i don't separate them further than removing the twists.
i've heard bad things about mj hair products, but the results i see on youtube really has me wanting to try them.
You know it seems like these kinds of styles turn out better when you have the straight ends. I remember I used to do it before I cut off my straight ends, now they dont work so much, the ends look frizzy. I like my regular hair anyway though.
ok girl its official I LOVE U!!!! you are so dedicated to the ladies on youtube and I absolutely love it. What type of hooded dryer do you use and where can I purchase it from? thank u so much :-)
I love this!!!!!! I think I'll have to try it one night after the kiddos go to sleep. When I wear my hair natural like this, I never pre-twist (I dont twist at all). I need to give it a try. Thanks for sharing this video.
Nina, have you ever tried a 2 strand twistout rolled with either perm rods or flexi rods? If so, can you please do a tutorial? I've seen a few on YouTube but I would like to see how your hair comes out. Thanks in advance.
Do you ever have days where you just feel like relaxing in order to see you how much growth you have, and if you want to be natural so bad why come you don't just big chop?
@MiracleChild3 I never think about relaxing!! I'm lovin the thickness & health of my hair! I love my hair and length...that's why I'm not bcing! I plan on cutting off the remaining relaxed ends January 2012!
@ATLalana87 Thanks Hun! My texture has improved alot over the past year...due to me taking care of my hair and finding the right products that work for my hair!
i love love love your hair ,realy moisturezed. wawww iam your hair 1. fan until yesterday i didnt find a creme or... that realy moistur my hair , but yesterday i try a mix whith my best moisturezer conditioner 15%, 50% of hot water and 35 % of extra virgen olive oil( she, curiosly in 1 year HJ i`ve never see my hair moisturized like now , but im afraid if the rinse conditioner can clouge my hair and scalp or not, please nina help me answer me ( sorry my english)
Nina, Nina, Nina your hair is absolutely beautiful and it looks so healthy I'm striving to get my hair as healthy as yours. Keep doing what you're doing and don't change a thing. Thank you again for all the great vids and hair styles and options.
that's really pretty :) I'm transitioning too and when I want my hair to look natural I twist them and then wrap them in bantu knots, twisting them around as I wrap. When I take it down ppl think my hair is natural. I should do a tutorial lol, thanks!
I think I <3 the twistout more than the braid out because it looks like your hair is naturaly curly ....so goin to try this, rite now I have a braidout I was wondering can u use any pudding to do this?
Girlie...this is ONE of the BEST Twist out's I've EVER seen..including my own. And I have done some mean ones...but this is perfection! Keep doing your thing Nina! Love it!
Fab always as always chica. Ive given upon my tresses everything i try turns into a rash. sadly my behind is back in wigs but its nice to see your progress my hair has grown i admit almost BSL but as much as its shedding its not worth the fight. keep up the work love it !
Nina, loved the video you made that look so simple! I am striving to continue to moisturize and seal nightly. I can see that I am gaining length but, what is most important to me right now is health. I have learned alot from you and others here on the YT. I especially took to heart your comment early on about listening to my hair. I love the videos the way that they are without you editing them down because watching and with repetition is what has allowed me to prefect my own techniques. Thanks
Your hair turned out soooo! beautiful; I'm inspired to try it on my own hair which is texlaxed. I'm hoping it turns out just as beautiful, because styling is such a challenge for me, it never seems to come out the way I want it to. Thanks for the video be blessed.
Thanks for such a quick reply to my question about maintainence of your twistout, but I have one more question? Can you do a video next time you wear your twistout, so I can see how you put it in 10 large twist? I know it sounds crazy but do u part it or just grab and go? Thanks God Bless
Loved the video...love all your videos! I don't normally comment on videos, but I felt the need to say this...PLEASE DON'T CHANGE A THING! I think your videos are the perfect length, show the perfect amount of detail and are more helpful than any others I've seen on YT. And you seem very sweet...keep up the great work! :-)
wow!!!!! Nina u did it again...great video...i will try it...i'm just trying not not to be a product junkie....so is there any other products that can produce this result....like Silken Child...QP Silk Wrap foam or Silk Spray??? just anything I already got....my hair is not as thick as ur yet but i do want to try this style...its beautiful and u did a great job...Thanks again for the video :)
@ninapruitt - You have so many subbies that you won't remember me but I once dropped you a note that said,"Oh here comes Ms. Nina Pruitt with her purtty hair. She'll have you believing that you can do the same thing too only you'll try it at home and end up looking like you've gone through electric shock treatment!" LOL! Which is what I felt like back then. But since then I've watched you, worked on it and now my hair is beat fo' sure! You have helped with that so thanks for all you do gurl!!
@Hellacute1979 You're probably just "LongHairDontCare2011" in disguise or 1 of her peoples trying to get the your/her subscription count up! If you're not LongHairDontCare2011...then is she the type of person who would appreciate you being such an ASS on her behalf?! Probably not. If you spend the amount of time caring about your own hair as you do being JEALOUS of EVERYBODY ELSE'S, then maybe ...JUST MAYBE...your hair can be just as beautiful as Nina's 1 day too!!
I keep saying the same thing. Your hair is the best on YouTube. I haven't seen anyone who does it like you do. You are an inspiration for anyone even considering a transition. I am rocking your braidout right now and I've been getting so many compliments. Also, since I've started taking care of my own hair, it's growing in the back, which is where it always breaks off. Also, I'm 10 wks. post and it hasn't bothered me yet. My roots are so smooth, just b/c I'm taking care of it. Thank you!
I have yet to see you do a hairstyle and I think to myself "I don't like it". Every style you show in your videos is PERFECT!!! Good job with sticking to your journey!! My transition isn't going as smoothly...I have days where I think to myself, "I'm going back to relaxers! They're so much easier!". But then you post a video at just the right time and it makes me more confident about my transitioning. Thank you!
anyone trying to create conflict on nina's page, clear off! haters move along! nina is so sweet and kind enough to make vids for us to get ideas from. no drama please.
This came out sooo nice!! I think I'll try doing a twist this way on my next wash day. Now that I have a lot more new growth, the cornrow braidouts and flat twists are kinda hard. . .lol And thanks for showing us the ENTIRE process and pay no never mind to the haters!!
I LOVED the WHOLE video Nina!!! And the twistout is absolutely gorgeous! Funny how people who don't even make videos are the first ones to watch yours and criticize...smh. Keep making great videos. Alot of us appreciate them. Thanks!
i love ur videos, i have tried the braid outs and love them, this video has inspired me to try a twist out...keep up the great work on your videos and your hair!
So gorgeous!!! I'm going to try this on my sister.... she is fully natural with BSL hair and wants to cut down on getting her hair pressed.... Oh yeah... I love how detailed you are... keep it that way for us people who need step by steps lol! :)
Im so glad you did this video because all i do are twist outs, i dont like the way braid outs look on me. and i was having this problem where the twists would be falling out by the end of the day. im going to get some of that curly pudding and that moisturizer :)
I enjoyed the whole video. Your hair turned out so pretty. It looks like your hair is really thriving during your transition. This last time I relaxed, I wasn't so happy. I had stretched for six months and was starting to like the look but out of habit just wanted to quickly relax anyway (some call it texlaxing). This next time I'll see. lol.... Your giving me inspiration lady. lol...

I LOVED the WHOLE video Nina!!! And the twistout is absolutely gorgeous! Funny how people who don't even make videos are the first ones to watch yours and criticize...smh. Keep making great videos. Alot of us appreciate them. Thanks!

This next time I'll see. lol.... Your giving me inspiration lady. lol...

Hey Nina! Or anyone else. Why are some of the videos, like this one made so that you can't view them on mobile? I've seen a few like that lately
