  • @aronricardovideo muchas gracias

  • I'm amazed they had jukeboxes back then, back in the day this must have been "high tech".

  • thank you , was a old "jukeboxe" for market, in the street ,dancing......

  • What does that spring with the weight that viberates at the end of the song do? How does this machine automatically move the tone arm? Nice phonograph.

    Thanks

  • thank you fot your answer, the spring with the weight that vibrate at the end of song is the electrical switch of the phonograph, is get a signal to a electromagnet which libere the piece of money and cut the electrical to motor

  • Notice there are two hooks the tonearm goes into, one mobile, the other fix on the outside. It is the mobile hook that positions the tonearm to start the record, puts it down and lifts it at the end, and senses when the record has finished. The fix hook is used while changing records, which has to be done by hand.

  • can they play normal 78s?..

  • thank you for your message, yes, but with a other reproducer.

  • Not only do you need to change the reproducer, you also need to adjust the motor speed to play regular 78's as these centre-start verticals play at about 95 RPM.

  • That is fantastic! You've got some really cool stuff there. I am impressed!

  • I wouldn't have thought a centre-start jukebox would've existed, but it's logical knowing what circumstances made the Lumière brothers invent their Cinematograph. The proper translation of "Ce disque ne peut être vendu" is "This disk cannot be sold"; this also applies to your other video with La Marseillaise.

  • Hi

All Pathe etched-label centre start and all disk for this PATHE CONCERT , cannot be sold and special , This is a old juke box with a market systeme

    thank you

  • Didn't know there exist such thing :)

  • thats great thankyou for sharing. never seen one of those before and probably never will again :)
