Before reading Hitman myself earlier this year, Mick Foley's Have A Nice Day was my favourite wrestling autobiography with Jericho's 2nd but I absolutely loved reading it and couldn't put it down. Will be re-reading it again sometime down the road.
Having said that I prefer Smackdown cuz RAW is just too lite on real wrestling, let the kiddies watch Hornswoggle win the belt on RAW, at this point RAW should be on Sat mornings.

Not really. Austin had the Lu Thez Press, an elbow, and the Stunner, but he was still awesome. Also, Hogan was a horrible technical wrestler, he had a body slam and a leg drop. It was their personas that made them. Just like Cena. He's got a shit load of charisma and is amazing on the mic.
Although, I am looking forward to seeing Cena try to do an hour long match without repeating the same moves over and over again.

I think you have a very good handle on the business, but I think you are too much of a mick foley mark. Foley is an entertaining guy and watching him put his body through stuff is fun, but it'll never be as good as pure wrestling like angle/benoit. you said that the "cane dewey" promo was the best promo ever. Yeah, and that's what drove a lot of people away from Raw and onto Smackdown. He was ALWAYS champion with the exception of when he would lose it for maybe a couple of months and then win it back and continue the cycle. It got so boring that he was pushing people away more than he was drawing them in.

Actually I know plenty of people who stopped watching Raw and watched Smackdown for the exact reasons that I mentioned, including a close personal friend of mine who was originally a pretty big Triple H fan. There's a reason why some people refer to 02-05 Raw as the years of Triple H's "reign of terror" (and yes I do know people who say that as well)
Well if you want to get technical, Raw is still THE show today. It will always be the number one brand in the WWE no matter how much better or worse Smackdown is in comparison. I'm not debating Raw's position as the number one brand, I'm debating Triple H's polarization of a lot of fans during the years when he was always champion. The same thing happened with John Cena, why do you think he gets booed all the time? Part of the reason is because he was ALWAYS champion, just like Triple H.

90% of pay per views are basically just glorified episodes of Impact or Raw/Smackdown. There is very little in the way of story telling anymore and both companies seem perfectly fine with regurgitating almost the exact same matches on every PvP.

Harts Biography is The definitive Wrestling Biography, I liked Foleys book too but oh my god. The Stampede stories were probably the best part.

well i got 2 favorites , the first one was when undertaker vs kurt angle vs the rock in in vengence of 2002 for the wwe champion
the second one was alliance vs wwf in survivor series,that was an awsome match

Wrestler of the Decade has got to be Chris Jericho. Even though he took a few years off, he still was a huge success. First WWE Undisputed Champion, most Intercontinental reigns ever, one of the best talkers ever, and also an amazing worker, one whose career I would like to mimic with mine.

i think from the whole smackdwon vs raw game they really should have smackdown vs raw in wwe. They take the ECW roster and split it with the other brands and have them fight for only one world title, one mid card title and one tag team title Preflably the WWE Title(A new one not a gay ass spinner), the Intercontenantal title and the world tag team titles. Do you think that WWE would have a better product if they did this?

Yeah I think putting the World and Tag titles on Benoit, was to show that he was "tough and hardworking" which was basically his gimmick.

i admited 08 and 09 was defianately the years of Randy Orton..but HHH was fueding with orton for most of 2009 so far and won the title at WM25..and what the hell did Cena do in 08??ok he won the RR(with #30) and lost at WM

Yeah, and that's what drove a lot of people away from Raw and onto Smackdown. He was ALWAYS champion with the exception of when he would lose it for maybe a couple of months and then win it back and continue the cycle. It got so boring that he was pushing people away more than he was drawing them in.

Actually I know plenty of people who stopped watching Raw and watched Smackdown for the exact reasons that I mentioned, including a close personal friend of mine who was originally a pretty big Triple H fan. There's a reason why some people refer to 02-05 Raw as the years of Triple H's "reign of terror" (and yes I do know people who say that as well)

Well if you want to get technical, Raw is still THE show today. It will always be the number one brand in the WWE no matter how much better or worse Smackdown is in comparison. I'm not debating Raw's position as the number one brand, I'm debating Triple H's polarization of a lot of fans during the years when he was always champion. The same thing happened with John Cena, why do you think he gets booed all the time? Part of the reason is because he was ALWAYS champion, just like Triple H.

Oh come on, you and I both know that most fans will boo or cheer people based on whether or not they're fans, not just because they're supposed to. We're not all little kids after all. All I'm saying is that a lot of people who were Triple H fans prior to his reign of terror were put off by the fact that he was always champion, much like Cena. Nevermind who is a face and who is a heel, Triple H was hated because he hogged the limelight and main evented EVERY PPV, it got boring and fans responded
