@MattyIce2001 From Dusk Till Dawn was 1995, and Blade Runner was 1982, it is an iconic scene. Aaliyah and Britney really liked each other but dancing with a snake has been done before. Britney was just the first to do it at an award show. and I don't see a resemblance really to what they wore, Aaliyah had snakeskin, while Britney wore an bikini halter top like what she wore in the Slave for you video, they wanted the performance to be a jungle theme to match her choreography.

@ChristianKEspanilla I am not surprised! Snakes aren't props for a loud, crazy performance, IMO. They are sensitive creatures. I have seen many burmese pythons strike at ppl holding them. I think the decision was very risky. I wouldn't be surprised if they slightly sedated the snake so it would remain as calm as possible and also not freak out and tightly wrap itself around her arms in fear of falling. Don't know if sedating this way is possible, tho, not a pro, nor do I have snakes!
