  • Why did political correctness have to come along and ruin everything? (sigh) This comes from the days when things were real.

  • This was some pretty weird shit looking at it now. Didn't seem like it at the time, but it really was! But at least I know this was real, cause no one else seems to remember this when I mention it. Even when I sing the intro song.

  • Miss was so scary looking back then. I skipped the episodes that featured the letter A.

  • I always felt so bad for Mrs A Achoo

  • I miss this show

  • Miss A used to scare me! Seriously, I used to have nightmares of her. I think it was the huge teeth and the whole "freaky puppet out the darkness thing".

  • @NiceGreenGirl

omg, Miss A scared me too as a child! I remember my older brother chasing me around the house singing this song because he knew I was scared of her! I think the teeth did it for me too!

  • Oh man, I remember watching these back in the early 90's.

  • This brings back beautiful memories of kindergarten (1995-1996). I didn't think i would'nt hear these letter people songs until 15 years later. I always loved the letter people back then

  • oh my yo!!!! PEOPLE THINK IM CRAZY WHEN I BRING UP SOME OF THE OLD SHOWS AT WORK FROM THE SEVENTIES!!!! THANKS LETTERPEOPLE AND YALL TUBE WATCHERS FOR REASSURIN THAT IM NOT ALONE!!!!

  • Yeah, I grew up on this in te early 90's and no one my age even remembers this show. The letter people are awesome

  • These "people" were so creepy to me as a child. I loved the theme song though.

  • Damn I have not seen this since I was about 7. 79" seems so long ago but then again it wasn't.

  • I was in kindergarten in 1980. So remember watching this. lol AWESOME decade!!!!

  • same here. no one remembers, and I remember crying when I found out the show was ending

  • @Msnoneofyobiz i didnt know it was a show...thx

  • I listened to these in Kindergarten in 1991-1992 and in First Grade in 1992-1993. We did not have the politically correct ones. I hadn't heard about them until I saw it on wikipedia.

  • My parents had the records and I listened to this one and Mr. M with the Munching mouth everyday!

  • this song reminds me of the original "Dawn of The Dead" ..lol to this day i love the letter people

  • AAAAAAAAAA choo

  • i do remember this and i was in kindergarden in 1984-1985...ahhhhh those blissful times in the 80's***

  • i was in Kindergarten in 1981-1982 this brings back memories. I do home preschool with my daughter and she loves letter people!

  • I love love love this... I kept asking people do they remember this show from kindergarden and they all said no. I would sing this song and people would look at me like I was crazy but I'm not... This makes me long for elementary school, nap time, snacks, and show & tell. Kindergarden was the beeeneeezzz 1988-89 is in the house!

  • Makes me long for kindergarten in '86.

  • Too bad they couldn't make up a song with more 'a' words.

Plus, I hate the fact that half these puppets have teeth on the outside of their mouths.

  • The verses of this song are rather reminiscent of those to Rod Stewart's Maggie May.

  • BRINGS BACK MEMORIES

  • the 70s - gotta love them - all the singers spaced out on LSD or m m m m marijuana!!

  • Miss A will be played by Anne-Marie Johnson (aka Althea Tibbs from In the Heat of the Night)

  • Or Miss Dionne Warwick

  • i remember this from kindergarten, wow.

  • THI$ i$ COLD MEDICINE MUSIC!!!!!

  • I want the aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalbum.

  • Wow, I used to play the records for these songs over and over when I was little. xD

  • Ms. A always reminded me of Mary Tyler Moore.

  • @EKS511 Likewise her theme song.

  • I love Miss. A's lowercase partner who just appeared out of the darkness and the way Miss. A retrieved the "a" when she sneezed it away.

  • why does she remind me of edgar in "men in black"?

  • My favorite of them all...this was some mellow ish!

  • Miss A is an eye-sore. Those teeth make her look like the Humpty Dumpty muppet from Sesame Street lol

  • this song is the straight up jam!!!!

  • Wow! I haven't seen this since kindergarten...28 years ago!

  • I haven't heard this since I was in kindergarten in 1976...and I've actually had just a bit of the chorus stuck in my head since then! Hearing the full song again has REALLY taken me back!

  • gosh i wonder miss a doesnt get zirtec or allegra or some othre allergy medicine

  • Yeah you would think someone who was sneezing all day would do something about it instead of complaining about it.

  • She might consider a flu shot...

  • Pharrell used this in the Louis Vuitton runway soundtrack in 2006. Miss A kinda sounds like Carly Simon. Miss A could totally cover You're So Vain.

  • The song sounds more like "It's too late" by Carol King actually.

  • it sounds like "walk on by".

  • My kindergarten teacher would turn down the volume during the second half of the sneeze, so we'd know that A is for AAAAAA....!

  • I enjoyed most how she often played the bass guitar in the songs.

  • I'm loving the mellowness.

  • You've got to love her mellow theme song! lol
