@AnimeGirl1723 yeah it is. the only one that there is a problem with is the return to ostagar dlc if you got the disc from europe I heard. I ended up buying that from the network instead it was on teh disc but it wasn't in the game even though it said installed

Imagine you saw the latest trailer for Skyrim or for Oblivion. What is there in that that makes you think your character is customisable in any way? They use a standard character. Same goes for the Sacred Ashes trailer for DAO. Nothing suggests customisation of a character. If that was the only experience you had with DAO, how would you know?

And yes, exactly, it's a role-playing game. That involves playing a role. Who cares if it's a predefined role or not? A true roleplayer can roleplay anything that's thrown at them, not just something of their own creation. ANY videogame RPG is predefined to some extent.

I found that Return to Ostagar gave me gear I used for almost the entire game. As did Warden's Keep. I got them fairly early.

As far as getting a deeper look into various aspects of the game storywise the DLC is great for it as it adds a lot.

@SailorSam416 You sir are correct it is hard to find a bioware game that can be disliked however before you make any conclusions Neverwinter Nights 2 was a fairly decent sequel to the 1st one but once they released expansions for it, it when down hill so they can mess up just like the rest of us so it is up to us the fans to kick'em in the ass if they ever ruin Dragon Age or Mass Effect or hell I'll even say it Star Wars: The Old Republic
