@AliF7871 I would say that if you can handle the MAX workouts from Insanity then you'll be fine with this. But there's a reason why it's only 30 days :) I loved it.. As for the p90x/asylum hybrid, it's a calendar that comes with Asylum when you buy it. It rocks!

Wow amazing man, this year on February I started Insanity and I was at 422, then after my 2 rounds I stopped and did a veggie juice diet for 35 days, so around August I stopped working out completely and still kept hitting weight here and there, and a few squats with a little jogging to maintain my weight at 302 since I had lost 100+ pounds. Now for my New years resolution im gonna do Insanity again with my own diet plan. Morning : Oatmeal or Cereal Afternoon:Shakeology Lunch :Subway Dinner Same

dude, this is SUPER MOTIVATING!! so my understanding of the regular insanity workouts burning from 1000-1500 calories per workout (depending on ur intensity), so how many calories does aslyum burn?? since it's suppose to get in you shape even faster than the 60 day insanity?
@Nutbuster360 I think the average for Insanity is 1000 calories and I'd say that Asylum is pretty similar (around 1000)... but it challenges your body in a different way and will help break through weight-loss plateaus. The key is to continue mixing it up and challenging your body in new ways. Asylum is a 30 day program so repeating it (to hit 60 days) is pretty intense... and best of all, it was a lot more fun than regular Insanity.

@shyfires You say it as if it's not possible. Yes, gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time is harder than doing just one or the other, but it's certainly possible. So for the first 30 days of this, it was pure Asylum but I kept my calories up at 2400 with 40% protein, 40% carb, 20%. For the 2nd 30 days, I did the p90x / asylum hybrid and was lifting a lot heavier weight and increased my calories more to 2600. That will spur muscle grow, even during a calorie deficit.
