Second, Mother 3 wasn't a very well known game--it was never released in America. Lucas was added because he worked well with Ness, already in the game, and was the only other character from the Mother 3 who could be considered the main character, and the most recognizable of them. Because, let's face it--Lucas was the biggest character, adn the one who saved the world.

I agree, Flint woudl ahev been a cool addition--all I'm saying is that it makes sense why he wasn't in the game.

Here are soem thinsg that should have been obvious but aren't.

Nintendo added a huge amount of content to SSBB. Adding more than what was already there, such as Flint or this song, would have delayed SSBB again. And given the crap they got when it was first delayed, Nintendo made the smart choice in not adding more.
