The only hell I see is the hell in this movie. They don't tell the rest of the story that is repeated many times when gay men (and women too) get married to the opposite sex for the wrong reasons and often ruin the lives of their spouses and children. There are stories of people who have transcended their pain and the women move on and get married to a man who really can love them fully but this story is so incredibly full of stereotypes, fear and shame. It's typical Evangelical propaganda.

People flocked to see Brokeback Mountain and celebrated how liberating it was for these two men to deceive their wives and follow after their lust for each other. But no one is looking at the affect that a confession of homosexuality has on the wife and the children. What scares me,goforthtowar,is that there are many people who go into the public schools, and teach kids how homosexuality is "ok" while at the same time, the kids are not allowed to pray to God as they are taught to by myself, my wife, and our church. Is this "equal rights"? What right do these people have to go into my child's school while I am working and corrupt their minds? What defense do I have against this? I love the sinner to a point, but I will not allow them to corrupt my son.
