  • My fav dessert! Thank you onepotchef!!

  • I thought i was watching robjnixon. U sound the same:)

  • I fucking love Tiramisu.

  • any substitutes for the Italian Sponge Finger biscuits as i live in singapore and i cant seem to find them.

  • @DesertMURASAME Any sweet bread style biscuit will work in a pinch.

  • @Cloudrider7 thank you

  • @DesertMURASAME hi there! i think cold storage has them. i got mine from there. or you can try marketplace at raffles city. hope that helped!

  • @OnePotChefShow I have a very similar recipe, except that I meringue the egg white with 3 tbsp (~50g) of the icing sugar, then make a custard with the egg yolks and mascarpone. Fold them together to get a lovely, fluffy creamed cheese mixture!

Also, try straight cocoa powder between layers and on top. Divine!

  • hahhaah, ive got asbestos fingers. awesome recipes

  • hello there! what can i use for Mascarpone Cheese substitute? :)

  • @muwaho0 You can use some soft cream cheese or ricotta cheese ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow thanks! love your videos! :)

  • Anyone know that it have to be coffee? Just wonder, if you for example have friends that don't like coffee taste, personally i don't mind it, but, yeah.. :P Just wondering ^^

  • @VolcanoDiva It doesn't always have to be coffee. I grew up eating a different version of Tiramisu. The one with graham, condensed milk, all purpose cream and mangos

  • Could u use egg beaters instead of real eggs?

  • Why??? why you have to use eggs!!!! "(

  • Thank you...it tasted really good.

  • Ooooo yummy! Im gonna make it this week!! Thanks heaps for the recipe!!! :)

  • I see you squish the egg yolk before mixing them too :3

  • I love your eyes :o

    And your recipes!! ;D

  • How come some lads in Australia are fully Australian but sound like they have an Irish accent?

  • anyway to use cooked egg?

  • I LOVE YOU <3 LOVE YOUR FOOD TOO <3

  • You said that Tiramisu is one of you all-time favourite deserts, so why not make a list of your top 10 favourite deserts? I think people would like to see that.

  • Made this recipe for mum's birthday with low fat cream cheese to make up for some of the mascarpone cheese and did not put a whole 500g of cheese in the mix (prob 400-450g). I made the mistake of not warming the cream cheese before adding it in - this resulted in hideous lumps :( I had to put my [metal] mixing bowl in the oven to warm it. I put chocolate chips in my Magic Bullet for chocolate powder and used Stella D'oro Margherite Combination cookies (Piggly Wiggly) for lady fingers. Loved it!

  • Your eyes are so fucking pretty! xD sorry.

  • Just made it... took my like 20 minutes at the supermarket to find the mascarpone, even though i had to have walked by it 15 times lol... Sitting in the fridge right now. Thanks chef!

  • I like Tiramisu.

  • That looked scrumdidlyumptious..>!!!

    I love your channel..!!

My kids ask me....show the one pot chef..!!

  • I made this using little plumcakes snacks. I cut them to make 3 long slices and use them instead of savoiardi (sponge fingers). Also I spread some milk chocolate chips in the cream.

Tiramisù is always a great dessert!

    This is an awesome recipe!

  • I have to send this one to my sister. She's a tiramisu addict :)

  • I love watching your show. You NEVER fail to make a great video. Your show actually makes me happy.

  • You made that look so easy!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great recipe, check mine latest video out who knows you might be abil to improve on it

  • You and EpicMealTime should do a colab.

  • Tiramisu's a great last minute dessert to make when you're invited over to someone's place. I've made it once before, and it was ok, but not rich enough. After looking around, I realized that the richness comes from using a pastry cream, but that's a bit too much work for me to attempt :) Your recipe's clever: it's like an uncooked pastry cream. That means I can add this to my list of goto dishes. I've only one concern: how long can you keep this around, given that you use raw eggs?

  • @swiftset I recommend consuming this within 3 days ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow David here in the part of the US i live in we have eggs known as pasteurized eggs. These are eggs that look the same, taste the same, and are totally fine to eat raw. They are a bit more expensive, but in our family where I live with my grandma and my baby brother who is only 2, we figure it is a safer option. I was wondering if you have them in Australia. I only explained them in case you do not have them, but if you do, you will know exactly what I am talking about.

  • @MrButterworth24 I've never seen them in Australia. To be honest, I didn't know you could Pasteurize eggs - isn't modern technology great!?!

  • @OnePotChefShow haha yeah. And honestly there are only 2 brands that I am aware of that have them, and I usually do not see them when I am on vacation in other parts of the US. Also I have a recipe request: new york strip steaks (I believe they are called porterhouses in Australia!

  • @OnePotChefShow its easy u just take the egg an hold it on the right side of ur face then slowly move it over to the left side, easy pastureyes'd eggs :D

  • @endstatus LOLOL

  • @OnePotChefShow In most grocers these pasterized eggs are known as "eggstra". It is mostly egg whites with coloring and cornstarch. They scramble, and work in cakes just like regular eggs without the danger of raw eggs. They come in small cartons about 1/2 pint (american measurement) in the refridgerator section near the regular eggs. MrButterworth24 is correct in that they are a safer version and can be eaten by all.

  • @MrButterworth24 Yes in the US Pasteurized eggs are pretty easy to find and would eliminate any risk. As for me I don't worry about it, but I like to live on the edge. Eating raw eggs makes me feel so alive. ; P

  • @OnePotChefShow what are finger biscuits?

  • @OnePotChefShow hi David, what if i only have 250g of Mascarpone cheese? Can i use the same measurements for the rest of the ingredients or I have to half all of them? Or I should probably get another tub of Mascarpone? thank you ;)

  • 3:44 jealous!!:(((((((((

  • This looks absolutely scrumptious! I'm definitely going to try this today! And for all the people and children who can't eat raw eggs, why not just use egg beaters. They are pasteurized so it should be safe for everyone. That way, no one would have to miss out on your delicious recipe! :-D

  • YUMYUM

  • @OnePotChefShow sorry for what I said before

  • @OnePorChefShow Sorry for what I said before.

  • Yum, tiramisu is my favourite dessert and this does look like a nice easy version :)

  • MMMMMMMMMMMM..... Tiramasu (impersonates Homer Simpson drooling.)

  • *bows*

  • You know how you sed kids shouldn't have raw egg & stuff well I have raw egg all the time

  • Duudee come to my house and cook me dinner! :) PLEEEAAASSEEE???

  • May I Give You a Suggestion. I See That You Were Using Your Hands

When Dipping in The Italian Sponge Fingers. Maybe if You Use a

Set of Tongs Grabbing The Biscuit Gently Then Dipping in Soaking

Both Sides at Same Time Also Then You Place in Baking Dish.

    WHALAAA Problem Solved :D

  • i don't like coffee, do you think their is some way i could use something else?

  • Nom nom nom !!

  • YUMMY!!

  • what cheese can i substitute in mascarpone cheese bcos in our country this kind of cheese is very expensive thnak u in advance

    :D

  • @lykishable You can use normal cream cheese (like Philadelphia) just make sure it's softened before you beat it in ;)

  • I AM SO HAPPY YOU DID TIRAMISU! =DDD It's My Favorite Dessert =D

  • Another winner! Yum! Thank you!

  • Whoa, that looks soooooooo good!

  • yummmyyyyyyyy xx

  • Are raw eggs really bad for kids? I used to eat meals with raw eggs all the time when I was young :S

  • @iLikeCookie88 Young children have under-developed immune systems, and are more at risk from developing food poisoning from the bacteria naturally present in raw eggs.

  • @OnePotChefShow Aaaagggh, my mam was trying to kill me! D: lol

  • @OnePotChefShow I used to eat raw eggs when I was younger too, my parent's always said what didn't kill me made me stronger :P

  • i wish i could reach into the screen and take a bite.

  • I usaly make more cream to put on top xD

  • YOU ARE FREAKIN' AWESOME! AHHHHHHHHH!

  • Great recipe!I am gonna try it!Congrats chef!!

    Greetings from germany !

  • when you taste it and say "hmm..oh wow.." i know that must be SUPER DELICIOUS! going to try this recipe tomorrow! :D

  • i love tiramasu but i can t never find suitable bread for the base

  • @alanyalicia

It's not bread, usually people use lady fingers for this. It's kind of a biscuit.

  • @PammieChan

well i meant to say that, i went to all the stores aroud where i live and none of them sell lady fingers which i found odd but oh well

  • @alanyalicia

Have you tried asking the people that worked there? O_O

  • @PammieChan

    ofc i did

  • @alanyalicia

:0 Wow. You could make your own though! Good luck! :)

  • @PammieChan

    ty. ill need it =]

  • We need another food porn moment ... havent had one in a while :)

  • I prefer placing cocoa powder on top of the tiramisu. not the nesquick thing. a real cocoa powder ;)

  • you make me cooking awesome!

  • Here in America Ben & Jerry's has a Tiramisu flavor you can only get at Target. It's been making me crave the real thing!

  • Are you getting fatter?

  • @Kunibuler ppl say......never trust a skinny cook. so if you're being rude, this isnt the place

  • @sheilasofea I'm not being rude. I'm just worried for his health. I'm a bit chubby myself, but I'm glad that I started exercising and living healthier and so managed to loose some weight.

  • is there an alternative instead of sponge fingers?

  • Comment removed

  • I seriously had no idea it could be so easy! Thank you. I'll try it soon.

  • Comment removed

  • @SmoerKitty Replace the mascarone mixture with custard ;)

  • @SmoerKitty It takes a bit more time, but boil a pot of water. Take it off the burner and whip your eggs in a bowl over the hot water. It'll cook the eggs some.

  • Can I cook eggs and sugar just to make a cream and avoid raw eggs?

  • @strahinjapfc Replace the mascarpone mixture with ready-made custard if you are worried about using raw eggs ;)

  • OMG! I love this dish since I was 10 years old and i'm now 14. My mum always buy's it from the super market but i'll have to tell her to make this. Thanks for the recipe I'll be sure to make this. Also could you do a Bread and Butter pudding or a Creme Brulay (I can't spell) If so I woudl love you =) Keep it up.

  • hey guys this recipe is soo tasty and with no eggs i hope u try it :

    1 pack of cream cheese

    1 can of condinsed milk

2 small cans of creme frsh

and 4 tablespoons instant coffee ( no water )

500 ml of web cream ( to give more volume )

and fold every thing together sugar is added as taste

for the cookies bring bowl of hot water and 7 tbsp ofintsant coffee ( to give storng flavour )

dip the cookies for 5 sec and line in pirex and freeze

  • Please change your catch-phrase! It makes me cringe, sounds so corny!

  • @PHT07UK he doesn't have a catchphrase.

  • @izabel1395 "And until next time, see ya later!"

    Haha, it's so good though.

  • You are not supposed to use the egg whites, though, only the yolks.

  • Hands up those who think that our one pot chef needs one of those bouffant chef hats...

  • That looks great, i will try this out at some point, thanks for the video

  • how about adding a bit of Amaretto to the coffee... or a bit of dark rum?

  • @Greengate777 Absolutely ;)

  • oh boy.... I should've known better than to watch this..... now I'm salivating like one of Dr. Pavlov's dogs at the sound of the bell... That looks so yummy that I'm sure some agency somewhere is thinking of making it illegal...

  • Looks amazing!!

  • Thank you for the disclaimer about the raw eggs. I would love to present this for dessert, however, I am wondering if you could suggest an egg substitute? I have small kidlets and do not want to take any chances with my sweetlings. Thank you for sharing! Love this as everything else you share. :0)

  • @MakeupLuck Replace the mascarpone mixture with ready-made custard for a kid-friendly version ;)

  • I'm half italian-american(been living in italy for ever now)...and i can tell u it looks good... but we don't use that kind of sugar.... we use normal granulated white sugar usually one tablespoon per egg...and i may suggest u to use unsweetened chocolate powder every time u have to start a new layer(after the cream mixture) and even on the top... but not too much :) the result if awesome trust me... hope u didnt mind me giving some suggestions

  • I really need a TimTam egg mug. :(

  • Hahahaha i laugh everytime i hear you make odd noises at the end lololol

  • I Love Tiramisu.Thank you for the video.

  • Mmmmmm....But I will have to go the eggless version for the next 3 months till kungfoo fighter is born. I also have used just whipped cream if marscapone is too expensive. But in SG where we now live (aussie expats), marscapone can be $14 a tub :( so very out of the question unless its a special occasion!

  • Poor Indians

  • ummm this looks so yummy!

  • Have you ever thought about applying for "Come dine with me"?

  • @Fivas1 They couldn't broadcast me on TV - I yell and swear too much when I cook :P

  • @OnePotChefShow Hey, I think adding a drop of alcohol would kill off the chance of Salmonella. Thus pregnant women and people with compromised immune systems would be able to eat it. So you should add a small caption saying that. Its the same idea if your making egg nog. You have to add alcohol to kill off the salmonella. Also great vid, I am gonna try this later lol

  • @theclashrock09 Adding a splash of liqueur/alcohol would have little effect on the bacterial growth. The addition of alcohol is simply a personal taste preference ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow I think It depends on the type of alcohol and how much you add.

  • @OnePotChefShow Aaaah come on! :D You are the nicest and most polite person I've ever seen on YT or cooking in general! Oh and great looking Tiramisu! It seems like the buscuits arent as wet as they usually are in Tiramisu, is that so? I would love it then, because I hate the wet Tiramisu bottom :P

  • @OnePotChefShow Lol. Me too :)

  • @OnePotChefShow lol so does gordon ramsey

  • Dave, do you know what Tiramisu means? :) In Italian of course :)

  • awesome video as always :)

  • @pearlipop ALWAYSSSS

  • @TimTakeAway go away. one pot chef rocks

  • @pearlipop im two pot chef

  • Wait... Where's the amaretto?

  • thank juuu :)

  • FOOD PORN XD

  • Love this vid, it looks so yummy! I made this once, I accidentally added way too much instant coffee and it turned out super bitter on the bottom layer..i ended up adding sugar to sweeten it out. I love the cream cheese mixture though, although the mascarpone cheese is way too expensive for me (I'm a cheapo)

  • @duriantram I agree about the price of mascarpone - you can always use a soft cream cheese instead. It'll be more or less the same and save you some bucks ;)

  • no coco powder in the middle? :C

  • You are like a male Nigella Lawson ( in a good way).

  • @turbochargedfilms I'm pretty sure there's no bad way of being likened to Nigella Lawson ;)

  • @turbochargedfilms I'll have to start making more thinly-veiled sexual references in my videos :P

  • @OnePotChefShow i'm italian and tiramisù is my favourite dessert...in the original version, you have to whip sugar only with the yolks and in another bowl the whites (in my personal version i don't use the whites, but some whipped cream). after you can add into the whipped yolks&sugar mixture the mascarpone cheese and finally the whipped whites (or the cream). try my version, i'd be very proud! ;) (sorry for my bad english!!)

  • @Cosmicnightgaunt As I said in the video, you can add some liqueur if you like, but I prefer the basic coffee version ;)

  • lol sponge finger biscuits!!! in Italy we call them Savoiardi :)

  • @endalie That's correct - here in Australia they are marketed as Savoiardi, but are more commonly known as Italian Sponge Fingers ;)

  • To be completely honest with you, I have never tried a Tiramisu, I really want to give this a go so I can finally FINALLY try it.

  • @J4CKM4N2266 If you like coffee and rich creamy desserts - you'll love this ;)

  • @J4CKM4N2266 you should like freaking try it ! omg , it's amazing , i tried it once , but it's awesome . go go go get yourself one ^^

  • @ZahirahPeanut I will make one tomorrow. I think I have all the ingredients.

  • Yesssss! Glorious onepotchef!

  • Fun fact: Tiramisu is italian (Tirami su) it means Pullmeup (Pull me up).

  • @breathx Well, no shit, Sherlock.

  • @breathx Really? I like that!

  • OMG!!! I L L L L L Love tiramisu!!! It's one of my faves too! I have a great recipe for it too but never made it. I will have to give this a burl .. yummmmm! :)

  • @CookingwithKarma I hope you enjoy it - I can't wait to see your version ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow ... you could be waiting a while!! lol :D It's got a different twist to it that's for sure! ;)

  • Would you get an even better result if you left it overnight?

  • @IanGorton Anything over 6 hours is good, overnight is better ;)

  • Fucking delicious.

  • WOW, this looks dead sexy! I'm gonna totally make this, thanks Chef!

  • Thanks, now I have to change my pants. I love Tiramisu, and you had to make this. Now, off to the store!

  • I'm Italian and I love tiramisù, one of my favourite desserts!

  • mmmm my fav fingers to have with tea!!

  • you have to this with cold coffee lol, otherwhise it will fail :p
