I just successfully maidened my T-28 3 times today. On Christmas day. Fantastic plane!
I have less than 3 hours practical experience with airplanes. Around 150 hours on RealFlight sim and around 50+ on my BladeMSR, but thats a micro heli. Heavily recomended!
I now have a P-51 micro, Stryker F-28c, and my first "large" plane, E-flite's Apprentice which is great for beginners since it's slow and has 4 channels.
I also have a DX7 and everything is connected with Dean's.

I bought the E-Flite T-34 Mentor to learn how to fly, but after putting her together, i decided to get a cheaper plane to learn on. i got a Wild Hawk at Harbor freight tools and learned a little with it after considerable amount of time on the Fsone sim. My collection includes the Wild Hawk, Hobbyzone supercub, T-28 Trojan and My first "large" plane E-Flites T-34 Mentor, which i still have not flown yet.
i just mastered the super cub and i was wondering could you make a video of the t 28s controller because i want to see how u control the alirons and the elevator and the rudder and lastly the power it gets
the controler is a 4 channel with rudder and the throttle on the left and the aileron and the elevator on the right. if this don't help let me know and i'll try to put a video on. You will love the the T-28 trojan, it's a great plane. thanks for watching
yes please make a video. plus the only thing obout the trojan is that it is fast for meadium sized field thats a little bit why im leaning towards a super cub lp tell me if its pretty goog in a medium size field also thanks so muck
Hi gszajer2. I uploaded a video of the transmitter. Hope it helps. I don't think you would have a problem with a medium field. This is a great flying plane. It is a little bit quicker, so it will get a long way from you in a hurry, keep an eye on it. I don't think you will have a problem. Good luck
Now that you mention it it does look like it has a down ward lean to the elevator. I got ahead of myself, and hooked up the control horn before centering my servos. You have an eye for detail. This i a great flying, and very stable plane. I would highly recommend this plane as a first aileron plane. Thanks for watching.
You can count on the front wheel steering knuckle breaking, it is a piece of flimsy shat. I fly mine without any landing gear without problems. Hand launch also problem free. The plane rocks! You will have fun! She is a handful after the SC but she glues back together nicely.
@Dumbthumbs i plan on a lot of no landing gear flights lol even if the props spinning a little as it touches the grass it probly wont break i hope - i got an old cox / kyosho cessna with wheels that flys sweet - pavement isnt the place to bring it down i found - fixed the shroud with epoxy and glass cloth inside - and my dynam super cub may lose its landing wheels i dont know yet - it already lost its piggy little brushless - 2600kva all the way ! !
I use an 11x7 prop on the T-28 with the upgraded Turnigy motor and still have not broken the prop landing without gear. You can program your DX6i or similar radio to cut the motor just before you land which will increase the longevity of your props. Have fun!
@Dumbthumbs I guess i'm gonna have to try it with no landing gear. I built two parkjets F-15 and SU-37 from depron with no gear gonna see how they go before taking the gear off my T-28.

@jankaps82 The CofG should be 2 1/2 inches behind the leading edge.
