@jamiejamking you can store pets up to 5 i think. and you change them whenever you like. if you grow in lvl and one pet is stored for quiet a while it will be 5 lvl lower than you whatever lvl you are

I never noticed that pets shrank when you tamed them until I tamed a corehound from MC and then ended up fighting a wild one shortly after. Mine was barely half the size of the wild hound >.>

I have to say, Humar the Pridelord is by far my most dependable pet though.

you get a mount later in the game. pets and mounts are different.

I kinda wanted a worm, but spirit beasts are much better + the purple chimera named numaroc, but that is 5 beasts and I need 1 for MM -.-

if I get a worm it would been a ghost worm, easy to get if you are exalted with someone and get a daily named feeding argrum (or something), but anyway I'm going to get the wolf from ramps in hellfire for MM specc, loque'nahak, arcturis, skoll and numaroc for my BM main specc, that sounds nice :D

To be honest the Beast Maestry talent is a joke for me... i mean besides the Devilsaur who has a pretty nice racial for dps, the others are pretty much useless in my eyes. If you ask me they should remake the talent and allow you to tame two pets >.>, that would be a useful talent for being the main one to go for.

when I went to hunter pet database it stated only 3 spirit beasts, but people often say 4 because 2/4 is the same. just a male sprit tiger (not tameable) however the quest to kill him needs you to summon the identical male version of her and he is tameable because he ain't a god.

the ones I know: Skoll lvl 80, Loch'something 76 and ... the tiger from a wotlk instance lvl 77
