  • Bad mutherfucker.

  • Got the idea of a japan grab from this guy way back ...didn't know what the fuck it was all about though ...Martin place 9 stairs

  • 2:04 still relevant

  • I remember picking this video up at the skate shop when if first came out! When I saw Frankie do that gap at the end I knew I had seen it all. Just blew my mind!

  • The gap at the end was mental, even by today's standards!

  • fakie bigspin jap grab just looks shit, too much tech, no style!

  • frankie is the almost cardiel for spitfire. nigger.

  • 1:40 fakie bigspin japan grab down a harsh stack

  • No

  • He paved the way of skating from the 80s till the nineties.

  • @humpyhustler No.

  • @kukenimunnen No what? Do you speak English or are you a fucken Chinaman?

  • @humpyhustler Flom fucken China.

Seriously, Gonz, Vallely, Natas, Hensley did a far more extensive work.

  • @humpyhustler Flom fucken China.

Seriously, Gonz, Vallely, Natas, Hensley kicked more ass.

  • @kukenimunnen Blah, Blah. This dude was a bomber. No one did big sets like he did in what? 88'-90? Go back look at the damn footage. All the guys you listed are smoother and more technical, but this guy is the original bomber.

  • @sjs4763 totally agree. I'm 37 and still remember it. You have to be old enough to see how it happened chronologically. those guys were about style and flow but frankie was gnarly and really agresive.

  • @sjs4763 Have to agree with yiu, and its a pity he doesnt get the public recognition in the same way others have.

  • damn, Frankie!! Nice ending trick. glad we're friends on facebook, i like watching ur vids frankie.

  • That gap at the end would still be legit now!

  • yeah good skating and funky sound!

  • it's so fucking hard to ollie that high on those old boards. they were so much heavier and had way less pop then what we ride today. but he makes everything look so easy. i think that was the idea. peralta was just like kids will see this and buy skateboards! haha.

  • how the fuck is he tweaking out street grabs like that?

  • yeah Frankie f**cking Rules! i loved Propaganda

  • i bought this video in middle school and damn near wore it out. that gap at the end is still HUGE!!!

  • I don't care what anyone says.. Frankie is RAD & the tweaked out mute at the end is still gnarly!! Frankie had some balls boys and girls!!

  • this is 20 years old. fuck i'm gettin old.

  • LOL. yeah mate im with ya

  • @homergrand99 Hehe yeah, but kinda cool to be around at a time when there was so much progression.

  • @homergrand99 I know, but damn it brings back memories!!

  • @mmafightart you gotta be kidding me

  • was this filmed on a cell phone cam from the 90's?

  • its my favorite part ever i think, the music is awsome but shit quality

  • what spells did he bind?

  • that biggest gap is at my school dos pueblos

  • Any chance of sticking some footage up of it?

  • o man i still have propaganda on VHS.. old school. thats still up there with one of the biggest gaps i have ever seen.. frankie hills the man!!

  • Thrash on

  • Hah I remember I had his board, just when everyone started to go double kick, his was double kick too, but just barely..had a bigger tail curve and a small curve in the front. Makes me wish I was younger and about 75 pounds lighter. I hate being fucking old........

  • Damn from the early 90's too.

  • ...just the bomb

first time me and my mates watched Propoganda this just kicked our ass, watched again and again...

THE BIG FAT OLLY ONE FOOT!!!

  • HOLY CRAP!

  • This video is so much my youth. Frankie was way cool!

  • one of my favourite videos ever...good music, too! do anyone knows what's the band?

  • dayum.

i used to watch that a thousand times whem i was 15...

that whole video put out a "new" definition of ollieing and especially frontside 180s.

frankie hill was young; i watched him playing the "clown" 10 years later on the german mastership with giant bunny slippers doing stupid tricks for entertainment.

however.that last ollie was the SHIT in these days :)

and even in germany EVERYBODY who used to skate, talked about it, i swear! dayum

  • frankie was ahead of his time, I had one of his last pro models a couple years ago when he was on diabolical

  • i remember my dad watching propaganda with me and it was the first time through it when frankie came on he kept saying wow! the drop cam and he goes "you don't think you are going to try that right?" i said no, he goes "let's watch the next section, is that hawk guy on this one?"

    good times hahaa

  • do that drop today and you would still get the same cred. frankie was my hero at 12. had the 911 bulldog board in black too! that is my favorite deck of all times actually. waiting for powell to rerelease that one along with the cab.

  • this part is one of tha fatest ever!

  • I loved Frankie. He was so sketch and so crazy. That board was one of my favorites. Miss those days.

  • havent seen this in years!! what the hell happened to this guy? he just seemed to disappear. he kind of reminds me a bit of a street Cardiel.

  • blow out his knee

  • i swear i saw him back in an ad for them flint like things that you put on your tail so cool sparks fly out when you ollie and such....

  • o my god fakie bigspin mutegrab thats dope

  • Here is a nice article about Frankie and his life after his knee injury..

    ttp://205.188.238.109/skate/magazine/article/0,23271,1009368,00.html

remember to put the h in front of ttp

  • thx man i was searching fot it

  • erocksk8 your stupid frankie hill is the original you disrespectful ratface.

  • i heard he is suing powell cause he can barely walk anymore. nuts.

  • If that's true, then at least SOMEONE got their moneys worth out of the school system.

  • frankie hill sued a school cause he broke his knee skating that is fucking gay still a good skater but fucking gay reason to sue some one.

  • Frankie is a real killer

  • Classic Frankie Hill. Speed Speed Speed. Was that last gap HUGE or what. Decades later, it still looks huge to me

  • A classic. Mute grabs god.Full speed skate with the smile! One of the most popular skater of this period.

  • Sick ender!!!

  • The gap at the end is the dos pueblos gap in goleta at dos pueblos high school, only a few have done it, its so much bigger in real life.

  • thank you so much!!!!!

  • Frankie lead the way on huge street skating for me, an icon in his own right! as where all those of the "Bones Brigade" era. I remember seeing this video when I was 12 in New Zealand and getting the balls to jump (what seemed like at the time)a massive set of stairs myself. And I landed it twice before I got some cute girls to watch and then I assed off like a mongoloid. Still Goodtimes and good memories.

  • ow my knee

  • I had his board too. back in 93

  • he's cool and all and good.. but he kidna just looks like a big douche

  • he's hanging in the air for like 3 seconds on that last gap. fucking awesome.

  • Frankie was the reason I kick-flipped down hugh stair cases and jumped big gaps. I envied the guy! I only wish there was another skater like him today.... I'd still be skating.

    1. Frankie Hill

    2. God

    3. Food

  • Blah... "Powell-Peralta" that is... I can't type lol.

  • This is the dawn of modern skating. Frankie made a career of risking his own body in order to push the sport to a new level. We all owe him a debt of gratitude. This is a classic clip, and should be required viewing for anyone who picks up a board. Big thanks to Powell-Peratlta and to Frankie, wherever you are.

  • Frankie! I had his deck!

  • they'r the bests ever

  • Awesome! I love powell's 80's early 90's vids.

  • That gap was the sickest thing done in skateboarding until Pat Duffy came along.

  • Thanks for posting this, I love to watch skate videos.

  • this guy is the godfather of big gap sk8ing he single handedly changed sk8ing forever

  • Please never remove this. I was a huge skater at this time in my life, and this video, and namely Frankie Hill, was what I wanted to be. This was as good as I would ever need to be to skate anywhere. And while I got damn good, I was never near this level...

Please leave this vid online for those like me who love it!

  • that ender ill
