thank u very much! freddie was one of life's originals, can never be duplicated...3 decades later, i m still very much a queen's fan! love and miss u very much, freddie!
Thank You!!! I am 51 and have LOVED Queen since 1971 my older sister had there records and I would sit outside her door just to hear Queen and the first song I learned was Your My Best Friend, by John Deacon . LONG LIVE QUEEN!!!
What oh what happened to music like this? Live, and still absolutely amazing! Oh lord god, send us back Freddie, for just one more night! I want to hear Queen live just once while I'm alive! I miss him so much! I want this kind of music back! Luv Ya Freddie, and I always will!
Brian introduced me to amazing guitar riffs, Freddie to amazing vocals, Roger to amazing drums, and John to amazing bass. This is perfection in music.
Even in the early days, Freddie's energy was positively radiant...so much so that it's almost impossible to imagine the man in this video could ever be anything but full of life. Gosh, Freddie, has it really been 20 years? You're a bigger legend today than perhaps you could have ever imagined. Thanks for everything you've left us. We're all better off just for having heard your music and seen you perform.
Freddie as a kid only took 2 years of regular piano lessons. Everything was too easy for him. His mother recently said that musically everything came naturally to Freddie. No vocal lessons and no vocal training. He was a true musical genius.
Same thing with Brian, Roger & John. These guys were so talented. All musical geniuses.
@queenmethirteen A treasure Brian May is. A smart cookie too. Wikipedia says about him:
He was made Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2005 for "services to the music industry". May earned a PhD in astrophysics from Imperial College in 2007 and is currently the Chancellor of Liverpool John Moores University. May lives in Surrey.
@mydeepestpurple Wow, I imagine it would have been a privilege to see them once never mind 16 times, what memories! Their greatness is that they were so confident yet modest. They were the best.
@mydeepestpurple i am soooooo jealous...youre really lucky...unfortunatly i was born in 1990...wasnt able to see freddie...but i saw brian and roger twice :)
You can just see the connection with Brian and Freddie here musically. They seem totally in sync on some higher level too. There's some great respect and love between these two!
i just love bring back that leroy brown
