Re; guitars. Bill Bremner was playing on this track, known for his fondness for a good jangling sound. Could easily be a Rickenbacker, or at a stretch maybe a Gretsch (I'll get me coat!)

Who cares anyway, it's a beautiful sound by a gorgeous Lady and Band...I just wish it was longer, a bit like Day after Day....that sooo lent itself to a 12 inch...but never happened... :(

Do any kind of search on Chrissie Hynde and most likely she's got a Tele. Its the most 'twangy' guitar in the world, even more so than any Ric. Don't get me wrong, I love Ric guitars and basses. I had 2 basses myself - 4001 v63 and 4003. Look it up if you disagree
