I was wondering about the calendar in the palm pre. I know on the blackberry you can make an appointment or event in the calendar and it gives you the option to invite someone to the event. For example you have a meeting plan and you want to sent the invite to everyone you want to attend the meeting. Does pre give you that option?

I dont know if this has been asked but how do i get my emails from certain folders in gmail? Ex bank, paypal, fantasy sports....Those emails are not showing on my pre..Thx again...good to see you are back!

Word of advice... Stay away from Windows Mobile. It is a nice OS with tons of features and functionality but it is very outdated and crashes all the time. I am struggling right now with a WinMo device... TERRIBLE!

By the way, If you are like me and like to archive everything instead of trashing it, change the trash folder to All Mail. It is the same thing as archiving.

I use Gmail primarily because I love the fact that Gmail threads email conversations. I'm guessing the native email app for the Pre won't do this? Guess we'll have to wait for a Gmail app.

Have to add that I'm pretty sure "All Inboxes" shows multiple accounts in one combined folder, not that it just adds it to favorites. Because you only have one account, it isn't doing that.

Is there SPELL CHECK? If so, is it only in email or does it work in other apps (ie. notes/memo) Can you show the different options for spell check.

Hotmail doesn't seem able to auto configure.... But there is an option to manually set up an account. As for flipping between accounts I assume you mean how do you choose which account to send a message from? When you are in the compose card you can choose which account to send the message from right at the top.

Thanks for answering and bringing up something else! What I'm trying to find out is how does one change to a different email account when viewing multiple emails. I hope it's more like WM6 and not like iPhone where one has to back out of the email, the inbox, the account, select the account and back down again.

To get it legitimately you would need to sign up on Palms web site to become a developer. Developers get access to the Palm SDK which of course has the emulator so you can test your application. Another alternative would be to search for it on Bittorrent or some similar service.

I see that you can attach a picture, video, audio, or document to an email. But when you click on one of those buttons, what happens? I see it goes to the picture app for that, but what does it open for video, audio or document? Is there a file viewer there or what?

I didn't see an option for associating a specific sound with an email account. Is it possible to have a different sound associated with each account so you know which account the email is for?

Also, if you have multiple email account how does it know which account to send it from? Is that what the icon in the upper right corner of the compose screen is for?

If you have multiple accounts when you compose an e-mail you can choose which account it is from at the top.

As for sounds I really don't see any way to set sounds for different accounts or even to specify a certain ringer for a text or anything. I just noticed this and it makes me sad.
