he was not talking about more taxes, he was talking about wiping out the income tax completely and replacing it with the fairtax, look it up fairtax(.)org most of the democrats want to scrap no child left behind.

Also, just a little nit-pick... the question about taking a plane was specifically a charter plane, meaning that it was arranged only for the candidate and their staff. While a train and a bus is even better, a regular commercial plane with the rest of us is head and shoulders above a charter plane, because the environmental impact is spread amongst the many passengers.

Maybe Gravel wasn't clear, but his plan is to NOT increase taxes. He wants to simplify them and make them fair. I'm not a Gravel supporter, but I thought I should point this out. For more information, check out his site: gravel2008 dot US
