today was muck-up day for yr 12 at skool. During maths class we all suddenly heard this tune play and we were all like "WTF IS GOING ON!??" Then outside the classroom we heard screaming down the corridor. When we went outside we saw 2 yr 12 guys with light-sabers fighting each-other to the death, and one guy holding a stereo which was playing this tune really loud. The two moved into a classroom and trashed it while fighting eachother. It was the funniest moment ever!!!!

The Phantom Menance may be far from the greatest film of the six, but you can't argue that some outstanding music wasn't composed for it. Even if you absolutely hate the prequels, suffering through TPM is worth it just to listen to such incredible.

It's ironic to think that one of the best musical pieces out of all the movies (and not just the six Star Wars films) was composed for one of the most stigmatic of all the movies.

@JaminKoehn will you explain me why ppl hate so much on tpm? i found it to be very agreeable and quite fitting for a begining of a series, (which came as a prequel) and don't give me the jar jar and the gungans thing cause my response would be "ewoks" right away... not the best, no, for me the best was the first to ever air (a new hope)... and the revenge of the sith tied with the return of the jedi by close margins, and as far as visuals and acting go i prefer the prequels (well acting depends)

Plenty of Star Wars fans dislike the Ewoks, so your comparison is a flop; even then, they were only in RotJ.

Jar Jar Binks is far more hated than the rest of the Gungans and, thus, draws a closer comparison to the Ewoks than the rest of the Gungans do.

What makes Jar Jar Binks worse than the Ewoks though, is he was in-your-face, and he was in all three of the prequels.

@JaminKoehn ar jar most time in the prequels was a secondary "lol-time" charcter so no... and you get me wrong, i love the originals, but that doesn't mean we should hate on the prequels... the originals had many horrible cliches and irrelevant things but still, we love them... the problem was george lucas, had a great idea, a great world visualised, but he couldn't bring it to life with top notch directing abilities, but neither could another more sleek director cause he wasn't the creator :(

This song was played in Star wars 2 when obi wan and quigon fought darth maul. Unfortunatly Quigon died and obi wan went uber pro. The 3rd and last movie they made, Obiwan learned how to communicate through the force to quigon. StarWars has always made good epic scenes in these movies and it never gets old
