hey just saying.... Classical Gas is not by Eric Clapton and was never played by Eric Clapton.. i think the song was in a movie and mistakenly credited to him and it led to many people thinking its him along with a video that has many many views on youtube thats called "Eric Clapton - Classical Gas" or something like that which is causing more people to think it was him.. but if you enjoyed it i will tell you that it is by Mason Williams... just thought i'd tell ya guys..

@figaz555 i kind of agree. eric clapton does do some pretty simple stuff, but he is probably the best guitarist if not the only one who can make it work so well. his bends are always in the right places and the out of tune ones are musically placed using his wise knowledge he has gainbed over his lifetime of playing slow songs and interesting blues phenomenons.
