@mebkick01 Watch closely on full screen and pause often once I zoom in. @ 14:00 mark for eg. There's a tilted head peeking around mound on left by cedars. And a little one sitting slouched over on the snow in the open on right.
"Do you see the mound peekers full screen @ 12:31 & 13:04 about 75' feet away. Their heavy brows and deep set dark eye sockets give them away." Yes! I see them, Tracker! Great catch! @ 12:30 is something sitting in the Left tree, feet dangling, as tree pans to the Right out of sight?
Thats so cool playing The Biggs a little live Nirvana! Dont know if they enjoyed it but I sure did! lol You are doing a great job, keep it up and something awesome will happen, You have a very promising area there, Ive seen them myself on your vids!
@7cybersandy The intent was just to play "Come As You Are" because the lyrics seem very appropriate in that case. But then i decided to just let it play and enjoy the tunes :)
there not apes there pre humans... ever heard of cro-magnon man that's them... there are small drums that have big sound and many work very good too... some work with your hand and some are better with sticks....
in total darkness without a flashlight the world changes dramatically... bring something! they 10inch knife blade wielding might upset them too... playing simple tunes on a drum will bring them out too... have you tried one?
@goldbugjoey My backpack is heavy enough so no drum just a loon call flute or MP3. I am not afraid of the big apes @ night either but you are because I know :) lol. :) lol
whoops are over rated.... try whistling the star bangled banner after dark for an hour....then you'll see how receptive they can be... carry some toilet paper with you too.... you'll need it! hehehe....
@goldbugjoey Yea normally i just whistle. But that's one of my calls that they recognize at a distance and sometimes respond to or approach. They usually wood knock when i use that call. And I've been within 8' feet of a few of them without needing toilet paper :) lol.
Looks so cold on that hill with all that wind & snow! Great ideas to draw them out with curiosity...but the cold seemed to win out. Thanks for your efforts & sharing!

Playing music seems like a good idea. If I may ask, what was in the bag that you hung on the broken tree?
