just a question, is an e-bow practically the same as using a regular bow. because i use a cello bow with a lot of reverb and distortion, and it comes out with a nice swelling sound like at 4:12. is it worth getting an e-bow(if possible) or just using a regular bow? ty.

for a quick answer, the regular bow looks cooler, but the ebow is easier to use, and doesn't leave rosin all over your guitar. with distortion and delay, the ebow fills the room. i use an octave pedal with two sub octaves, and it's a wall of sound.

an ebow works with the pick-up in your guitar to sustain the string you're playing infinitely. It has a light that when you rest the ebow on the string, it will vibrate the string and all you have to do is move your other hand to whatever note you wanna play....just watch, Chris does a pretty good job of showing how it's done

This band has a sucking factor of negative zero. I'm so blown away that I've decided to name my first dog after them. And not only just because I grove on their tunes so much but how cool would it be to call out after my dog "THIS WILL DESTROY YOU". My neighbors already look at me strangly. This will really send them for a loop. Anywho, I can't wait to see these guys live.
