  • Thanks very much. Very well done.

  • Can you do a video on how to replace the light bulb on this model please?

  • @ikkons92 We'll keep this in mind if we need to do this on another Jeep Grand Cherokee. To change the bulb you could do one of two things, you could remove the main beam as the video shows, or you should be able to access the bulb from inside the engine bay. You may need to remove the battery to be able to access one of them however. Hope this helps you out.

  • thanks could find how to do this in any of the books!

  • cool

  • i got a quick question i just bought that whole new header piece from you guys but where you were talking about the clip what is that assembly called because i need a new one and no one knows what its called if you can tell me what its called/where i can get one too. thank you

  • @DJSQUILL I believe the proper name of it is a J-Clip. If you bought new headlights from us too. They should be on there. Hope this helps.

  • How difficult would it be to repair or replace one of the two bottom studs the lamp attaches to? The outermost one has broken off at the plastic it mounts to, and I'm considering jerry rigging a short strip of galvanized pipe strapping and lacing a thin bolt through it to act as a stud, as I've been unable to find what part that is or how much work a proper replacement would take.

  • @stormsgathering There isn't really a way to fix it. Those tabs are formed on there in the mold while the headlight is being made.

we sell the headlights on our website. Here's a link to them 1aauto.com/1A/HeadLights/Jeep/GrandCherokee/-/-/1997

Question do you have a Video on how to replace a Melted Heater Vaccum motor line.

  • @cosmo144 Thanks for the compliment, unfortunately I do not have a video on the vac motor line.

  • thank you, been trying to replace mine, i had the grill off and made a mess, thanks for the video

  • Thanks for the video!! Took me 20 mins.

  • @dogun23 I can only imagine how much of the front end I would have taken apart to do this if I hadn't seen this video! Very Greatfull!

  • thanks for the video

  • @TheSexsar Glad to help!!

  • FYI It is a T20 Torx driver, I was mistakenly calling it a "T2"

  • If i want to just replace the bulb is it necessary to remove the entire thing too?

  • If memory serves me correctly, the driver side you can replace the bulb without removing the light. That may be the case for the passenger side as well. But I think, on one side, the back of the headlight is obstructed by the air intake or some other part so removing the light may be the easiest way.

  • Thank you.
