Well there is no air cleaner to start with. If still whistling check for boost leaks, hoses, clamps, cracks in housing.

Failing that the turbo has possibly got fucked bearings causing the impeller to rub on the housing.

Nothing has a mechanically tuned engine sound like a RB26DETT, it's just perfection. Not to mention that cubic inch for cubic inch it's the best engine on the planet. 2.6L and they can make over 400 HP per liter
