  • Nice, I'm getting these for my strat. My setup will be Neck: dimarzio PAF 36th anniversary Middle: Seymour Duncan hot rail Bridge: Dimarzio DP100 Super Distortion!

  • sounds gigantic , and also tastful playing !!

i think about to build in a hot rail in to my 54 roadworn strat , but only at bridge position , because it would be really stupid to destroy the typical strat sound specially at mine ;-D but i think at bridge a seymor duncan hot rail would be cool

    thx man

  • @ThrashRoC or you could buy a HH pickguard and have an regular JB at bridge and a dimarzio humbucker from hell at neck... its a interesting combination ;)

  • whats that first thing you were playing

  • @SNIPrA55A55INS just messin' around... :P

  • @somyungjung I have a little doubt about these speakers, i use guitar rig with guitar link from behriner, can i plug these speakers on guitar link and use them as a amp ?

This doubt is killing me , ´cause i really wanted to buy these speakers.

  • @VanishaGlamChick6 the guitar rig itself is a stand-alone plugin that only runs if your computer is on and it receives guitar signal from your guitar link, processes it and sends the audio back to the guitar link, which you stream the audio with regular amp, PA, active speakers... etc.

  • Hey Mate bought the MS20 Monitors yest getting em tomorrow how you finding the sound quality ? they look sweet you play good.

  • @nathanrox22 for a near field monitor... it gets the job done! although you might wanna watch for the bass levels haha

  • Banda Teimosia -"Hot Rails" (bridge)

  • sounds great I'm getting those rails

  • thts it im putting tht in the neck of my jackson!

  • how do you go from your guitar into you computer to use guitar rig?

i tryed it via usb coming out of my zoomg71.ut but that was horrible. plugging the guitar straight into the mic input was also a bad idea. can you help me?

  • @WarlockFlo pluggin it via usb of your zoom should work... but if you dont want to buy a audio interface for it then download the software ASIO4ALL... its free so u can google it and download ;)

  • im trying to put the guitar rig 3 to work, but my machine can't put it to work without a ''delay'' in the sound if i use an USB audio interface it will be solved?

  • @xxsoulavengerxx any audio interface with a instrument input should work fine, but if you don't want to use a interface you can try to work it with a software called ASIO4ALL and you can download it for free... google it!

  • yeah thanks man. i matched a vintage tele and a quarter pound pickup once. i think the difference wasnt that big compared to the hot rails - phat cat projekt. but i ordered them yesterday and i hope everythink will be fine.

    thanks for your advise

  • @WarlockFlo any time dude! ;)

  • i'm a little bit scared of putting this hotrail monster in my tele with a phat cat in the neck ^^

  • the trick about using a hot output pickup with a medium one is that you should get a proper height of each pickup.

that means that if you ever put a hot rails in the bridge position you should lower this little bit more than usual... It's amazing how the sound changes in a 1mm difference

  • if you switch to the middle pickup(the one that isnt a hot rail) will it still sound like a fender? and whats the difference if you put one on the bridge and one on the neck? does it sound the same if you only put one?

  • @cuswco97 actually if I switch to 2nd, 3rd or 4th position sounds very ferder-ish... In my case I preferred to put hot rails both bridge and neck cuz I like a fat sound

  • Did u switch the tone pots to 500k ones when u did the pickup switch?

    Sounds good btw :)

  • Did he respond to you? His playing is good, but the pickups sound like someone put a weight on top of them.

  • haha, weight on top! XD

I wanted to sound as fat as possible... To a point that doesn't sound like a strat anymore :P

  • If you get bored with SD hot rails. I highly suggest Dimarzio's chopper, cruiser, pro track. Very solid performers. Keep on rockin at any rate.

  • for sure! ;)

  • ew ur tone

  • i have a californiastrat and getting one of those pickups tomorrow

  • Is it just me, not dogging your choice of guitar, but strats dont sound too good with maple fingerboards. I feel the same way about teles with rosewood fingerboards. Does know why this is or is it just my ears?

  • Personally I don't like rosewoods... I'm kinda maple-ebony fretboard digger XD

Such a shame that I sold that strat, It was one of my best guitars that I've ever had :S

  • Sounds great dude! Yeah I dig the maple fretboards...Im sure it's only in my head but it "feels" nicer to play

  • can you tremelo pick with these, and them not sounding twangy like a single coil standard?

  • the character of the tone... hmm I'd say like 75% twangy and 25% PAF'ish :O

  • when you bought the hot rail was there only one wire coming out?

  • @MaidenJapan123 nope, the hot rails comes with 4 conductor wires

  • i was a rosewood guy aswell till i bought a billy corgan sig then i converted to maple they feel so much smoother and look sweet

  • 1:04!! haha that was so funny
