Sounds like a fan to me. How do you fix it? Beats me, I have an issue with just hearing the fan after its been on 30-45 minutes but I see there is an app called Fan Control. Do a search on it, down load it, and see if as you adjust the speed of the fan, the noise also varies. That should tell you it's a fan issue.
Hi Jenny! I haven't seen you in ages! I'm not sure if you remember me but I've been a subscriber for years! Good to see that you seem well, and so grown up =)
i've ben running it lightly for about 25 minutes and it seems to have gotten quieter but sounds more like a clicking/ticking almost. at a high frequency. and it doesnt seem to be getting hot or anything.
@imaginaryjenn89 all-in-one computers often have only 1 or 2 fans servicing heatsinks that connect to a lot of components. if you are lucky the computer will shut off before overheating does any damage. or the fan is ok once it gets started, but clicking means something is stuck in there. if not lucky, stuff will be fried inside before you feel any heat outside (because the fan isnt blowing it out). a new fan is cheap, its about 3h work though.
Take it to Apple shop so they change the fan

@imaginaryjenn89 It may not seem hot but if it isnt cooling components they will overheat and die, Best thing to do is have it replaced!!!!!!!!

@vegetizer i took it to the Mac store (not apple store) gave them 50 bucks and it turned out to just be a cord rubbing on the fan that had come loose

yeah the bearing in the fan is toast. leave the computer off cuz it will overheat without the fan.
