if ur iphone isnt working jus hold the power button and turn it off or hold the power and home button and it will reset but turn it off and then connect it to the computer and then hold the power and home button until it resets and then only hold the home button and it will connect to itunes and ur phone will have to be restored

man jus connect the phone to ur computer and hold the power button and the home button when it turns off let go of the power button ONLY and keep holding the home button and it will connect to itunes and u will get a screen on ur phone saying itunes so u can let go of the home button and then jus restore it but to jailbreak the 3gs use purple rain it is much easier and some things on Cydia are not ment for 3g so jus read it before downloading

actually, if you do it correctly, you can go into itunes and click "restore" under your iphone settings and it will restore it to factory default making it undetectable so that they won't know you did anything

when the screen shakes amnd they have the x its because you pressed an icon and you held it. its basically so u can order what icons where you want it. and to delete any programs u want that u isntalled. idk why its blacked out tho

So I have downloaded WinPwn and QuickPwn to try and jailbreak my new phone. I have a 3G with 2.1 firmware. The set up of saving the zip file and opeing the Pwn works swell. But QuickPwn gets to the point where it is suppose to "browse" and it never comes up with a check mark. What gives? I cannot find the IPSW.
