@shadon09 they will easily be able to catch up since Palm has made it so easy for apps to be ported over from iphone to pre. Once the pre gets flash support in its browser next month that alone adds over 100,000 flash games to the pre. Yeah the iphone has about 90,000 apps but do they really need 386 different fart apps?

Ok. Why would you want to play 2 to 3 games and surf the web while listening to music at the same time. Thats crazy. Iphone has better games and you can talk on the iphone to while in an app or game. But i guess pam-pre is better at speed

@shadon09 You can talk on the Pre while in an app too, just can't use the data connection, like surfing the web. That's a carrier option, not a phone option. Sprint could change that if they wanted to. The games that the iPhone has will make their way to the Pre. It's only been out for like 6 months, give it time. The OS is definitely better and the app catalog hasn't been open for public development all that long. It has over 1200 apps already, it'll catch up.

@HDmusic1080 ... how so? The iPhone does not have synergy, it can not do over the air OS updates, it doesn't have flash support, doesn't even have a flash for its camera, doesn't have native wireless charging support.... too much to list to keep going.

1 thing the iphone does have over the pre is 90,000 more apps. but then again the iphone has been out for 3 years and the pre for 7 months (2 months to the developers community)

no synergy is bs, but OTA os updates... i would rather use my computer. Because you don't have to worry about spotty coverage (like ATT lol) and USB is faster. no camera flash is bs as well, flash player doesn't matter to me. takes up SOOO much cpu and battery. and what is the point of conductive charging? Less cables I suppose. oh and the iphone has 140,000 apps. Which makes no difference if 0.00035714% of them are on my phone. (i did the math)

honestly, the only thing the iphone has over the palm pre is the size of the screen and the size of the app catalog. In a few weeks, the pre will have Flash + video recording/editing. after that the pre's feature set will officially be larger than that of the Iphone. They are both great phones but the pre (and WebOS in general) is much more flexible, so palm can implement dramatic changes and improvements quickly.

I don't understand why people even say that Pre is an "iPhone wannabe". It's clearly not.

Palm's entire webOS looks and feels nothing like iPhone; Apple's UI is centered on starting apps, Palm's UI is centered on switching between many running apps. I think much of this is Pre envy on the side of iPhone users who would like multitasking.

Also... Palm Pre resolution is same as Iphone resolution.

The difference? Palm, unlike Apple, can come out with a phone with a bigger screen because our language development allows it to.

However, getting past the same screen resolution is going to be tough for the Iphone.
