Thanks For a Wonderful Song. John Denver was one of those great singers whose death saddens us as the moment we listen to his songs. Perhaps the thought of so much talent senselessly wasted makes us doubt the meaning of the word "fate". On the other hand, how many of us can leave so much behind at the end of our journey through Life?
I heard this song on the radio in Rockhampton, Australia, in 1978. It was love at first byte. From then on I bought everything he ever did and went back in time and bought all the music of his from his glorious past. John Denver, "The King of Emotion."
