Nice-looking game. I would have to say that the GBA is about on par with the Sega 32X or Atari Jaguar-- more than able to pull off the most impressive feats on the Super Nintendo, but comes just short of rivaling Playstation.
Wow, that's a pretty nice engine running on the GBA. It runs at a nice framerate, granted there's not other cars or anything else and the draw distance is very short, but very nice. The racing itself seems pretty fun as well.
This is one of my favorite games on GBA. Not just a good engine but nice gameplay/driving too (although a bit too easy). I never play racing games from inside cockpit because I can't get a space feeling whether my car hull is close to hit stuff near or not, so it was nice to sit back and enjoy your performance in this video :)
@IceyOnly You can change it. Default is external view, where you can see the whole car from the rear but I preferred it in cockpit view when I used to play it.
Yes, I did have a go at Colin McRae as well but I hated it. Felt that the handling of the cars was pretty ridiculous. No offense to the great McRae, but I feel the game bearing his name wasn't as good as V-Rally 3 on the GBA.
It's actually been ages since I last played this game, so my driving skills must be really rusty right now. Haha. I used to play at least an hour of this every day, till I knew every single stage by heart. Those were the good old days.
@kellerp95 Yea it is, not only that but it's a fearly early GBA game. I think it came out latter in the same year it was released. So it really pots a lot of latter racers to shame.
