  • Was reading comments well video was on you sound like David schwimmer lol

  • I am doing a build (inside a suitcase) in a couple weeks, and then a proper one in the summer. This looks like SO MUCH FUUUN!!!!!! Can't wait!

    Great video!

  • nice build, i think this case looks better with a red fan at the front though, thats what ive got

  • Nice video. I am thinking of buying a system with the identical specs to yours. I will use it for normal online work and playing BF3. Thanks.

  • lol never ever install a computer like that, even if its for show and tell, did u notice the graphic card bending already, and plus watch out for that static electricity :o

  • @NvidiaNerd

The graphic card is not bending at all and I was grounding myself every few moments by touching the steel part of the case. If you're talking about when I built the system on the box to test it, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT. How would you feel if you built your whole system into the case only to find out that your motherboard is defective? That'd suck.

    Go troll somewhere else.

  • @freakincrazyperson When I installed mine, went in smoothly. No crunching.

  • You look like JJ from ASUS lol

  • @iiKidRodi

I wish I did..he looks so much more professional than I do

  • bro what is the song name ???

  • ok is there cheaper Mother Board ?

  • when you installed the cpu, did it make really small crunching noises like the pins were being pushed down when you pushed the cover down??

  • Isn't that heatsink a little bit overkill for an i5-2500k? I've been using an i5-2300 with the stock fan and heatsink for almost a year and have had no issues with it overheating.

  • @ElegyForTheMasses

I overclocked to around 4.5ghz and the temps aren't even as good as they could be.

  • Well, I bought a computer from ebay Germany with the same specs and it cost in total, 1000 euros which is about 1100$ including the OS, Monitor, keyboard and mouse so in my opinion you should have searched for it like me. I didn't had any problems with any of the components and I can tell you this pc is a beast

  • @EmperorDozed

Sorry but I would never buy a computer from eBay not to mention in Germany.

  • @EmperorDozed

Also, 1000 euros is way more than $1100. That's like $1200+ at least.

  • @EmperorDozed $1100 is a bit much to spend on a computer from another country. Not to mention that you have no idea if all the parts would have been working. If not you would have had to return the whole thing instead of 1-2 components and simply replacing that 1-2 parts yourself.

  • I'm saving to build myself a gaming rig. It's been I while since I built my own, last time I did it I think it was a P4.

The parts I want are totaling at about $1,790 not including taxes. and I barely have half saved up. A few years ago, I opted for a gaming laptop but this time I want to be able to upgrade parts whenever.

    Wish list (core parts)-

    ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3

    EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 580

Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz

    CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB

  • @killyamomz If you're only going to use the computer for gaming, don't get the i7. Go with the i5 2500k. The 2600k gets almost no performance increase in gaming over the 2500k. Save the extra $100. Just an idea.

  • @killyamomz get a 2500k, 8GB of RAM (You don't need any more, trust me) and instead of a 580, maybe get something like crossfire 6850s or something? Would be much cheaper.

  • Nice vid dude, I just got all my components in the mail 20 mins go and I'm about to sit down and rock and roll. I got the haf 912 also.

  • whats the name of the first track?

  • Nice video and music isn't bad, it fits imo. Nice hardware u got there.

  • Is it hard to build a pc if you follow tutorials?

  • @hugojwz No at all, seriously its like putting a Lego set together, just one piece that fits the other perfectly.

  • you have the same power supply as mine ;)

  • I have the same comp but the Corsair 400R case (and diff hdd )

  • I swear for me with my newish system around 6:16, i had a similar experiance with my first build i had my whole family waiting to see if my computer I spent a ton of money on worked. I am so glad i did everything right but i was nervous as hell during that moment.

  • Thas a very good system with a low price :)

  • I liked the video very good, but I dont think the music fitted in.

  • @longmage4

Honestly, now that it's been a while, I wish I had picked different music also. Not much I can do now..if I audioswap it, the part where I'm talking will get dubbed over.

  • plese change the motherboard spec title. ur motherboard is actually the ASRock Z68 EXTREME4 not the p67

  • @trashypickles

You truly are retarded..or still a troll

  • @trashypickles If you look at 2:01 then you clearly see that it is written: ''ASRock P67 Extreme4.''

  • @trashypickles z68 is better anyway

  • No offense .. but you could've been better of by buying a cheap(er) case and spend a little more on your GPU .. it's not a bad GPU tho

Have fun with your system !! btw how is the i5 2500k performing? I own the i7 2600k and it's a beast !

  • @LAZrailkapinda

That case was only $50. Any cheaper case would have been a cheap piece of plastic that would make my computer look like a typical Dell or HP or something. I did get a cheap case and that's why I've been wanting to upgrade it since I got it. Also, the price difference from the 560Ti to the 570 is like $60-70. Is it REALLY worth almost a hundred dollars more just for a few more FPS? This one performs fine.

  • @XHolyPuffX

Woah ! You got the HAF case for 50 DOLLARS ?! now that's a deal ... you did great than ... here the HAF case costs around 120/150 euro. And I agree with you.

  • @LAZrailkapinda

You're probably thinking of the HAF 912 Plus case that comes with red LED fans and a black interior. That one is a lot more.

  • thee biggest fuckin bottleneck I have ever seen in my life!!

  • @trashypickles

You're trolling right? If you're talking about anything besides the hard drive, then you're stupid. These components match each other perfectly. If you want a bottleneck, put an AMD Phenom X4 with SLI 580's. That's a bottle neck, not this.

  • @XHolyPuffX they do call me mr.troll lol!

  • hey! i am about to buy the same computer.. apart from the cooler and the psu.. but i was i was wondering if you can add another one of those of gtx 560 ti to get sli... like is there enough room with the psu down there.. thanks in advance!

  • for future reference; you put on way to much thermal paste!

  • @9ggubZprod

For future reference, I mentioned that in an annotation!

  • @XHolyPuffX I have annotations turned off, so. Apologize.

  • @9ggubZprod You sir are AN IDIOT

  • @detroit88 Welcome to the internet.

  • Hey HolyPuff, I just want to say nice video and great editing; please ignore some of the ignorant comments some have written. Anyway, at 1:05, when you remove the ssd dock, could you mount a 120mm fan there? I might replace my antec 300 case with this. You see, when I built my computer, this case wasn't out yet.

    All the best

    ~George

  • @Georgefromboarding

It'd be possible to ziptie the fan to the holes, but there's no actual fan mount as far as I know

  • your pc is a monster did u know that

  • In atx 8 pin 12v u got 2x4 pin or just one 8 pin cable?

  • cool pc like :)

  • thanks for the video, im also getting ready for my first build and am using similar parts except for i got a diff case and agigabyte gtx 560 ti 448 core vid card, i hope it kicks ass

  • Good cable management bro

  • I'm buying a similar system, but i'm getting only 4gb ram, it's good for now.

  • How many GB of RAM?

  • @bpmagruder

The same amount as how many brain cells are in your head.

  • @XHolyPuffX Oh 8gb lol

  • @XHolyPuffX dude you really need more ram.

  • @davdua1991

Why do I need 16GB? For photoshopping and using after effects? Sorry but I barely use the 8GB I have already. What I need is an SSD.

  • @XHolyPuffX your such a dumb fool trying to be smart

  • @romario50001

I'm such a dumb fool for pointing out that people refuse to read the video description? Or even read the first 10 seconds of the video itself?

You're* not welcome here, and neither is your poor grammar.

  • @XHolyPuffX i'm gonna beat you down.

  • @romario50001

Have fun with the assault charges that will end up on your permanent record ^_^

  • @XHolyPuffX LOL you answer message fast i like that :D

  • @romario50001

Only when the comments are directly related to me lol

  • To much paste man! No more than a corn of rice ;)

  • awesome hardware. you did a great build

  • +1 for good DnB

  • Did the CPU lever take some force to push down? I am stuck making mine as I feel im putting too much force on it

  • @lolb3n

    It does lol

  • @lolb3n lol lift some weights haha

  • @MrGibby911 u retarded bro? i didnt want to push it down incase the lever snapped, mong

  • hey, you dont put anything betwin the motherboard and the metal wall of the case???

  • @Naesun1

The standoffs were pre-installed and I screwed in the rest of them. I just forgot to show it.

  • @XHolyPuffX nice, just wondering, casue i once almost broke a motherboard that way, i screw it direct to the metal wall xD

  • i have same processor and gpu and motherboard lol, just built it a few weeks ago

  • @joeycool12 it's recommended that u have a 650w power supply if u was to get it I think ur pc work struggle to supply enough power to everything depending what u have eg hdd

  • you guys seriuosly love to waste money my 8600gt and quad core play all modern games at medium high settings

  • high end pc????

  • Dude that's freaky.. Minus the mobo being a bit different and a couple of your parts we are doing exact same build :P. Though mines not able to started yet unlike yours :P. But I too have the same monitor, The same case, waiting to be used, the same cooler also. I must ask what accessory is that that has the 2 usb 3.0 ports? Months back I heard not much was using 3,0.. Though that may have changed..

  • Hello.

What are your temperatures on idle and on full load with that CPU cooler?

  • Looks like the build I'm using, how's it running?

  • how much did it all cost?

  • theres only one thing i have to say about this , MODULAR next time

  • use SSD :D

  • по ламерски проц установил.

  • what floppy drive do you use?

    a SATA or HDD floppy?

    XD

  • nice almost the same build as mine . same tower, cooler, processor.

  • very nice budget PC

  • Wow! Holy Shit!

`You sir, have got yourself a very nice pc. I only saw one bad thing: you got win vista!

I am planning on buying this build ( gtx 560 ti and the i5 2500k ) But would it work with a 500W powersupply? Or do you think I should get myself a 650W?

Anyway, very nice vid. Liked and subscribed!

  • @BFn3xt

    That's windows 7..and no just get a 650

  • @XHolyPuffX i have a 450watt 80 plus bronze supply and a gtx560 non ti will it run if i put in a i5 2500k and a p8p67 evo mobo thanks and i have fun time with your pc

  • @BFn3xt But will a 500w work with the i5-2500 and the gtx 460 then?

  • @BFn3xt 500W is more than enough...

  • @0Stormbreaker0 Ok, thank you

  • @BFn3xt Just for the info I got: i5 2500k @3,3, GTX460, 1 HardDrive 1TB, 1 blue-ray dvd-drive, 8GB Vengeance Ram and a p8p67 deluxe and my PC works with 200W max...

  • @BFn3xt get a 600W minimal

560 ti is overclockt and you can overclock it more

    and the i5 2500k

so dont take the risk get a 600W or more

    im gonna buy next week

  • @BFn3xt it depends. whats the amp and railings on it?

  • 9:15 I really like that :)

  • you make this look easy. good video. thanks

  • nice build. my rig will be:

    Intel Core i5 2500k

    AsRock p67 Extreme4

    2x4gb Corsair Vengeance 1866mhz

    XFX 750w Core Edition

    EVGA GTX570 HD Superclocked

    Logisys blue acrilic case

    Seagate Barracuda 1tb sata 3 7200 rpm

    Some LG dvd driver

  • @keeuss what the fuck is up with the case

  • @360guyftw what? is it bad?

  • @keeuss well,it depends really if its in sunlight and you should try go for a corsair obsidian or a cooler master haf X or haf 932.

  • @360guyftw I might take a Corsair 600t, but your suggestions are good too.

  • GTX 560-Ti is an amasing GPU, Its affordable and performs very well, Games like battlefield look amasing with 1920x1080 resolution with high settings at 50-60 fps.

  • Have you experienced any problems with the cpu by applying the thermal paste like that?

  • Awesome video, by chance I've ordered very similar parts to yours (even the same case!) Main difference though is I've got a 6950 instead of the 560Ti. It's also my first build.. kinda apprehensive about it but seeing this video put me at ease slightly. The main thing I'm worried about is plugging everything into the appropriate place on the motherboard.

  • thank for upload vid i will buy i5-2500k !!

  • Gaming computer? 560? :D

  • @Sadik0gungor91

The 560Ti has played every game I've played through so far at 60fps. And that's like 10+ modern games lol

  • @XHolyPuffX

    Metro 2033? Crysis 2? Arma 2?

  • @Sadik0gungor91

I played Crysis 2, yes and it ran just fine. I don't even know what Arma 2 is and I don't give a crap about Metro 2033 since I'm not into that kind of game.

Benchmark performance =/= Having fun playing games. I had fun playing all of the games that I did and that's all that matters. They all ran at least above 50fps and I had no problems at all with anything.

  • @XHolyPuffX

    All source engine?

  • @XHolyPuffX also battlefield 3?

  • @L3gendaric

I don't play that game. But I'm pretty sure you need SLI or a 580 to max that out anyway and keep constant 60fps. I wouldn't know though because I didn't try.

  • @Sadik0gungor91

I have also a GTX 560 ti and i can run every game maxed out at 55-60 FPS

    and BF3 45-50 so......

  • @TheTacticalGamerHD

    BF3 on low?

  • @Sadik0gungor91

    No Maxed out

  • Ty dude!

    From RUSSIA with love :)

  • hahha fucking priceless.. "and im pressing power"...... *Foreveralone.jpg*, Moments later

    "FUCK YEA"

  • @xFoxRx no1 likez u

  • I recommend you AMD FX 8150 or Intel 2500K. Gpu - Nvidia GTX 560 Ti or AMD Radeon HD 6950. And atleast 4GB of RAM.

  • @SimonasMorkunas

i personally wouldnt recommend the 8150 to anyone. Im not an Intel fanboy, but the 8150 is an under performer, not to mention while overclocked it draws an insane about of power and runs hot.

  • Hey how is the SC version of the GTX 560 Ti working for you? does i have good temeratures and good performance? because on newegg it is cheaper than the regular 560 Ti and im wondering why is it cheaper if its specs are better?

so if you could respond to me that would be so helpful...Nice vid BTW! xD

  • I just ordered almost same parts :D

    Gigabyte Z68P-DS3

    8GB Dual Kit Ripjaws 1600mHz

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti OC

    Shinobi Core (it was cheap)

    Corsair TX 650W

    Intel Core i5 2500K

    WD Caviar SE/500GB SATA II

AND I JUST CAN'T wait for the parts :P

  • would 550 W be enough for your rig?

  • Comment removed

  • which motherboard should i buy ? i wanna game die hard :P

    Asrock p67extreme4 gen3

    Asus p8p67

    my pc :

    I5 2500K

    Asus GTX 560YIL DC2-OC

    DDR3: corsair vengeance

i wanna oc to , how many W voltage i need is 650 enough?

  • @BringNStoHorizon: If you're planning to overclock, then ASUS MoBos are very good as are Gigabyte. I've heard the AsRock boards have issues with overclocking, but I'll let HolyPuff answer that. The Asus Z68Pro/Gen3 and Gigabyte UD3H-B3 are also Gen3 ready like this one (P67s have no onboard graphics though. Go for Z68). Also note that the recently manufactured Gigabyte UD3H-B3 MoBos will have Gen3 slots in it, but earlier revisions will need to be BIOS flashed to Gen3.

  • i love the song

  • Loved the video man. Hopefully i'll be able to count up my penny's and build a rig like that.

  • Hi dude, how much was that cpu?? i really need an anwer, pls.

  • Nice video dude!

    Name of song?

  • @EnjoiDubstep

    Nice comment dude!

Name of song? It's clearly labeled!

  • @XHolyPuffX Oh, lmao!

    Didn't see it.

Had a feeling it was Fred V too. ^_^

  • 6:32 is the most nerve racking moment when you build a PC lol

  • dude can you post me a link to where you got that usb 3.0 front panel? like the look of that better than any of the ones i've been able to find.

  • @MrToomanyquestions

It came with my motherboard lol

  • @XHolyPuffX yeah ended up seeing that right after i posted. do you use your system strictly for gaming? i'm having a hell of a time deciding between P67 or Z68 because I intend to use my build as an editing station primarily with some gaming on the side. If P67 isn't a total dog on video I would go that route, I don't want to have to deal with switching the BIOS and whatnot if I can help it. Any input on that?

  • @MrToomanyquestions

It sounds like Z68 would be better for you since you can combine the onboard video with the dedicated card

  • @XHolyPuffX that only works with the boards that have Virtu technolgy

  • @TheMortalpain

Most of the more expensive ones do.

  • nevermind, see it came with your mobo...

  • really great !!!!!!

  • awesome vid

  • Comment removed

  • Hey man, what do you think about core i5 2500k

    hd6950

    8gb of ddr3 RAM (patriot)

    asus p8p67 mobo

    seagate momentus xt 500gb?

Sry for my english cos i'm from Europe :-D

  • @czOps1997 very good. It is pretty like HolyPuff config

  • @czOps1997 Decent mate. Do it. i have a similar setup

  • I noticed your gfx card doesn't have hdmi, I thought hdmi was best so could someone explain why you wouldn't want it? Thanks :-)

  • @SuperPhunTimez

Yes it does, it's just mini-HDMI

  • very nice video editing. i would have gone with an Asus motherboard instead of Asrock and Corsair Vengeance memory over Gskill. You should get another gtx 560 and run SLI. overall, nice system.

  • hey can gt 560 ti run bf3 at ultra on 1080p?

  • i love the way the music drops in after the screen turns on :D

  • what song is this?

  • Little advice cut you hari give them a bit of style bro :)

  • man... try a cable management! :)

  • Great vid man, I'm building a rig with almost the same components, good stuff.

  • Why use so much thermal paste and then not even spread it on the cpu wht a dumbass

  • @dreamurdream

    Are you an idiot?
