The 7/1 edition of WWE SmackDown! did a 1.63 cable rating, with 2,333,000 viewers.

Smackdown ranked #8 overall on cable, #7 among males 18-34, and #4 among males 18-34. Smackdown ranked #1 in the 8:00 p.m. EST timeslot among m18-49.

I think Smackdown got a bad rating was not because it aired on 4th of july weekend, it was because people put in spoilers and uploaded videos of the show before it airs, just like on the 4th of July special of WWE RAW.
