I have two Ridgebacks, the male is only twelve months old and already thirty inches to the shoulder and nearly eight stone. A breeder has said that he is like a throwback to the old Ridgebacks that were Mastiff sized and that suits me fine because I love Mastiffs too.

Yes bullmastiffs make great pets and they adore children. I own an 11month old bullmastiff and she and my son wrestle and play together and im often more concerned for the dog! hehe. If you want to get any dog i would suggest you do some research on each breed before making a decision. I love my bullmastiff but i did my research first to make sure the dog would fit with my lifestyle and family and vice a versa.

Why the hell are people talking about dogs fighting and mucking up one another. If you use your dog to fight or you get some pleasure because your dog can kick someone elses dog around you're as sick as Vik. If you want to show how big and bad you are fight your own battles don't use your dogs to fight.
