  • This assumes the defenders on 1 and 2 are picking their nose and not playing help side defense...

  • nice play

  • Alex - if the kid with the 4 has to help, the 4 is open on the block.

  • looks like a combination of pick and roll too!

  • My only argument with this is if you have the 4 guy cut down the middle, you're bringing that defender with him, so the middle technically isn't that open. Maybe have the 4 set a pick for the 2, since typically the #2 guy is the shooting guard.

  • @alex2405777 We do almost exactly as you say - the 4 screens away for 2 and then rolls to weak side block ... the 1 then uses the 4 also as a screen .... we can attack ...s/r and also swing to opposite corner for a jumper...we can do this out of the standard set or from 4 high ... I agree - if 4 goes down too early it clogs middle, you might get a bounce from 5-4 but really I rather leave the area open a bit ... thx

  • nice and easy

  • The dive is good

  • This is a pretty good play. And thats right our team gonna be doing it and guess who the shooting guard(2) knocking down the 3 will be?, me

  • This is simple

  • I agree with this guy below me lol

  • This wouldn't work. If the 4 dives his man sits in the lane for help and the driver would have to be very talented to make a play. Instead of having the 4 up top, the 2 should be up top. That way if his man helps there can be a dribble handoff, or the 4 (who should be on the wing) can screen down for the 1. This means the 3s options are the roll (5), the handoff (3), or the drive and kick (1).

  • Actually, it could work for that very reason.

If the 4 doesn't dive, his man can sag off and provide help without risk because the 4 is typically not a perimeter shooter.

In this scenario if the 4's man steps up to provide help, 4 is open on the block, as opposed to 20 feet away.

  • damn...if only our coach knows this vid.

  • Its gonna take me a while to learn but thanks 5/5
