That's funny the Evo x has no chance if you take away its turbocharger lol stock Z puts out 330hp and the Evo 300-360hp depends where at UK or US. both from factory not bad for the X but i gotta hand it over to the Nissan for putting out without Forced Induction but leave it to the Nismo Z to tear it up 350hp (still no FI)

@darkgod1117 Well....With the Evo X you don't really lose power with AWD, also AWD would help with the launch. The Evo has more HP which would help in the straights, and I'm pretty sure the Evo has a better power to weight ratio as well. However 370Zs corner amazingly, which is the only reason why it competes with the GT-R. On a track, it would be a fair match between the Evo X and 370Z. But they are both good for separate things as well, 370Z would win in a drift, Evo X in a rally. <- Example.

Stock for stock 370 will take Evo and sti And not to mention if u put a supercharger on even at only 8 lbs of boost the motor is pushing 550 safely on stock block and head where as the Evo u have to build the head and bottom end to even hope ur motor doesn't blow. I used to be an Evo 9 owner and I love the 370 way better in every way because it's a lighter faster more sexy car. Enough said haha and I'm rocking the 40th anniversary ;)

I am considering trading my Z for an EVO. I will say that the EVO is hawt, especially when tuned. I just love the look of the EVO also.......... for what it is. I have decided I cannot part with my Z for the EVO. There is just something gratifying about driving the Z that the EVO does not have; it is not all about going fast. The EVO does not have the fun factor to me. Also, the Z is one of the best looking cars period to me right now. At the end of the day, I'd take the Z.

@Croozerification Lets talk about quality then; Known fact the 370z can't even go around the track on a hot day without overheating oil, there is the fuel starvation issue, there is the fact that NISSAN won't let the tuners play with the cam timing system, Car and driver crashed the first nissmo because the brakes gave out, first ever on any car. Road n track kept having the car go into limp mode to save itself from overheating.

I am going off of my experiences. Even with that I still love the Mitsubishi vehicles. Just love Nissans more. My mom has an Altima, we have a 1987 Nissan long bed pick-up. And then my 280Z. The pick-up is a BEAST sounds like a Ferrarri, just 5 times not as loud. I would choose the EVO in a video game, but a Z for my own.

Other than that no problems at all. No overheating. Maybe it differs from past generations, eh? Neh maybe I would go for an EVO over a 370Z, but not an EVO over my 280Z.

I like the Z; don't get me wrong. I think its a great looking car, I just think the EVO has more potential for a "Sports car"

For the EVO X vs 370z debate, overall the EVO wins hands down, utility, versatility, dollar for mods, etc, the Z is only good on dry tarmac period.
