  • I am a home daycare provider and I would say that it completely depends on what you want to spend($) on daycare and what your main "worries" are as far as kid/teacher ratios, child/child interactions, parent/provider relationship etc.. Home vs. Center are completely opposites! If you want more information about anything just let me know. :o)

  • Thank you... We have been interviewing like crazy... what is the biggest thing we should look out for with home day cares?

  • I would just make sure #1 that they are def. licensed! But I would ask for references and numbers of the current families that they have. and call, call, call them ALL! Ask them what they think of the provider, the environment, if they've had any problems with them, how long they have been going to that daycare (?'s like that). I would also ask the provider if you could come someday and just observe for a little while to get an idea of what the day is like in that home. Anymore ?'s let me know!

  • I will do that... thank you so much!

  • (: you're due right around the same time as me.

    I'm due june 12th. (: and i'm 26 weeks today (friday)

  • go online and read the reports and reviews on different daycare centers. you will be surprised at what you might find!
