I was born and raised in Youngstown, I now live in NW Lower Mich. I've seen Dennis ( before he was the menace) and Left End play a number of times, at Idora, The bedroom and wedgewood lanes, a bowling alley for Christ sakes, and I'm sorry, Youngstown can do better than the crap that they dish out. Just one example...See Phil Keaggy and Glass Harp...True and pure!...And all you doubting Thomases...Bring it on!
anybody remember Boogie's Speakeasy below the Grist Mill at wedgewood lanes? My cousin owned that bar....those were the days. these younguns now days don't know what they're missing!!!!!
I remember when they recorded, "Live, Living and Breathing" at the Park Inn. Saw these guys many times. Great band. Do they ever play together anymore?
the city of Warren has been doing those summer tribute concerts at the amitheater. It would be cool if one night during the summer to see The Left End play, if its possible.
Left End definately kicked ass. The Spring Thing at Idora Park in Younstown, Ohio was the best jam party of the year in the 80's!!! Left End was there alot.
Their peak was a little before my time (I was like a year old in 66, so I was WAY underage during the Arcade and Bonnie & Clydes years, maybe 14). I remember the Left End Reunion show at McNasty's in Kent (1987, if I remember right, but maybe I was too drunk to remember right ... '87 was a crazy year for me ... lol). The one thing I definitely DO remember was, the better the band, the harder I partied! I got WASTED at the reunion show, so these guys REALLY kicked ass!!!
anyone have a love shooter vid they were great packed any place they played first seen dennis with the pied pipers in about 66 austintown roller rink 43 years ago wow
