Where Bob Dylan's version was kind of stark and, frankly, depressing, Blackmore's Night takes the same lyrics and puts a hopeful spin on them. So it's not a 'bad cover', it's a different take on something. And frankly, I prefer the hopeful outlook of this version to the bleakness of the original.
