It seems fitting that the QE-2 crossed the Atlantic like her sisters before her did so many times in both peace and in war cutting their heels on the grey, stormy waters.
Why Dose the deck of both ships seem so dead? At least compare to what we see around here in florida.

Do these 2 ships alwayse sail together? Why do the newer ships have less protection even tho they have to deal with huricanes? I would think the cruisers would have to be tougher.

@THEABRAMSMBT No. The Queen Mary 2 is sailing the seas still. She participates in the world cruises offered by Cunard. More than 3 months, sailing around the world and visiting many ports in many different countries. You'd have to cough up over $20,000 for a single bunk.

@beaum1cah no cruisers if a cruse ship went through the northern atlantic it would flip break and sink, but they retired her because yes she may be somewhat new they made her back in the 80's and the model was obsolete compared to the cruisers

@beaum1cah yes the Queen Victoria is a ocean liner but she is not one of the greats she is smaller than QM2 and QE2, these are the greats. and not Cruise Ships, CRUISERS, there is a difference the Cruise Ship has a Flat Bottom and a Cruiser has a Pointed Bottom.
@beaum1cah i dont think ur geting it CRUISER and CRUISE SHIPS ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!! a cruise ship would never make it through the northern atlantic, the flat bottom would catch the waves and flip break and sink! a Cruiser has a pointed bottom to break the waves so it wont flip. but Cruise Ships are better than Ocean Liners in some aspects. but a CRUISER is better than an Ocean Liner in nearly every aspect

@stophatinlol135, Queen Mary 2 has a flat bottom as well. Just look up some photographs of her in a drydock with Google. No deadrise or anything.

If they had ben going the other way it would have looked far more dramatic. Quite a lumpy sea in actual fact. Instead they're just surfing along.
