A much simpler way to do this fight, is just to dps them until oom (as haiatu recommended). I used a turtle pet and T1 bonus (no teir 5 gear) a few minutes ago to
kill this boss. The teir 1 bonus was probably unnecessary, my pet never dipped bellow 25%, and it seemed pretty stable. A few times I seemed to have gotten unlucky , but as long as you keep mend pet up its a stress free fight.

problem i had doing this is my pet kept getting knocked into the lava, and then he cuoldnt get back up and agro would get all messed up

And if its unclear, I mean keep damaging the healers until they all go oom, then kill them.

From when they start to run, until they get within range of you in the lava, its about a minute and a half or so.
