Nintendo, they'll definitely do this. First was the touch screen DS's, the motion sensing Wii, A new vitality sensor attachment soon, and the 3DS. It takes pictures, 3D pictures, videos (3D?), plays music, has amazing graphics, Nintendo has accomplished SO much that the idea of this Mind Control probably seems puny to them.

Straps with the wii motion sensors on them that you put around your waist and elbows and knees and feet and what not and to press A or B or something you touch a finger tip to your thumb. People dont be stupid. Even though I know this is an idea, it's well known that current virtual reality helmets or googles dont really make the user feel like in a virtual world. What we need is a different technology like retinal scanners and or non intrusive brain computer interfaces (BCIs)to really feel like we are in a "matrix" like world.

this is soo cool! ive been thinking about something very similar to this for ages now and getting way too over exited about it. although i imagend one where you stand in one area and walk on the spot to move etc as your room would have very little capacity for a large game. but for example adding bands onto your arms with electromagnets inside firing metal balbearings to the back of it to give you a feel of impact. ive thought way too much about it, and cant get on with any sort of studying.

Man, they could make it sensitive to where your head moves, so your view can pan like in RL. Maybe use a controller with it, or maybe make it sensitive to jumping/running etc (perhaps with an adittional device on the ground). Man, some day, maybe within our lifetimes :D

Yep, it's a fake and pretty old. At some points of the video you can clearly see that the construct is rendering which could use some more polygons. The cutter did a good job though and the sound is nice. Does anyone know of a version with a real end?
