my problem is everyone wants to be the one that gets the kills and no one wants to play the supporting roles. yea youre playin with people youve played with before and trust to play the game like a REAL squad but if you jump in a random game just like 99% of everyone that does that right there throws teamwork out the window. yea you got some good kills with that tank but more often then not from what ive seen if im drivin the tank im fixin it too.theres as much teamwork in bf3 as there is in mw3

Come on guys, games are not meant to be too realistic. Over realistic games are too difficult to play. I'm pretty sure bf3 is both realistic and fun. Realistic in the sense that realism in digital gaming. Fun in the sense that you get into a tank immediately instead of having the animation of climbing on the tank and board it. Fun in the sense that you spawn a box of ammo and health pack instantly.:)

I stay a bit behind my squad, preferably in an elevated area so that I get a pretty good view of the area my friends are located in. I spot the enemies and tell my friends via chat where and what they're doing. I snipe a few of them off to defend my friends and the flag/m-com.

I mean god damn, last time I checked the Armor penetrating rounds in the M1A2 Abrams are known as "Silver Bullet" and don't even pack explosives. Jets neither fly at 300km/h in a dogfight. So no, it's not very realistic. But it's more "realistic" than COD.

Defibrillators are effective in instantly treating headwounds, people can jump in and out of tanks instantaneously, sometimes it's no big deal to crash a heli/jet into a hill if you're at the right angle, it takes 2-3 .50 cal shots to take down a person, torches are effective in all kinds of repair, squad spawn is a new military technology, and last but not least it IS possible to sprint at 10 mph with 3 AA missles

@kenny222 play co-op mission "fire from the sky" if you want to practice helicopter flight. As far as the jets i don't care if you crash it doesnt matter you'll get shot down anyways, but the heli is very important. Its basically use for ground control. A good heli pilot/gunner can change the focus in a battle easily having +50% of their team looking up trying to down the heli whilst everyone else is trying to defend advancing ground troops capturing waypoints or planting on m-coms.

I mean, really, it took me until today just to unlock the flares, and that was only because I was the first person to join the server so I could get into one. Most of the time, the people who steal the jets already unlocked most everything for them, which I can see as benefiting the team, but it means nobody can rank theirs up.

@kenny222 Well, I finally got the jet IR flares by, as replied to before, joining a server with three people on my team and two on the enemy's, and just flying around disabling the same tank with the machine gun. (BTW, this is probably something that is utterly obvious to everyone else, but you have to come in from above and have your teammates marking the enemy to get a clear shot with the jet's gun)

to the reviewer. try my favorite mix on MBT, proximity scanner, thermal and canister. if you have 2 other friends in the tank make sure you have a javelin or the tank gunner, this replaces the need for having guided shell on the tank and you can punish infantry and light vehicles with extreme prejudice. i got all the best kits/classes

I find using the canister shell to be very helpful if you don't have anyone in the third seat or on soflam, since it's a shotgun shell essentially it rips apart infantry to a good range, and when you engage a jeep, you can disable it with the main gun, and quickly finish them off with canister shells to ensure the kill. One of the things I like about guided shells with tank to tank battles is that you can hit them first with the guided shell and then your main gun, you can take them out faster.

@guyanaguy7512 they handle like 20 ton trucks and its best to use extinguisher and maintenance since they move really slow and make easy targets so most of ur damage will be from miniguns and hovering makes u a sitting duck but u might want to use rocket pods if u do since its surprisingly effective against ground troops.
