  • It sounds like you need to get some suspension your tires are loosing traction a lot on turns...and get some bf goodrich tires g-force tkd and im sure with those you will get that time of 1:57

  • @s2000eg

Yeah I can't pin point on something exactly about the KW CS that bugged me, but it did...lol

  • that looks like a ton of fun. Nice driving man, cant wait to do this in my S one day.

  • you're driving your car so fucking fast !!!! Well done ! I'd like to have the same chassis setup on mine LOL

  • holy shit that is fast for a pretty stock s2k. great work!

  • Are you going to be at the event this Sept. 25-26? I also have KW clubsports and am curious what settings you are using

  • @Silver9k

  • are you running catless with the r1000? is the car tuned? or stock ecu with stock tune? thanks

  • @azcheron

    r1000 is headerback so catless

the car isn't tude; stock ecu untouched

not the best i know...but will do for now

    :)

  • smoother driving is faster driving, all that scrubbing is just shaving time off..

  • good run! from what i can see your setup has way too much understeer and you turn in until understeer on every turn. it may be that your setup is giving you bad habbits. id aim to turn in less and try and correct your setup to be more neutral. is your rear sway bar stock? if theyre stock try a bigger one up front, if they arent try the stock one in the rear, if you have done this already good luck : D. good run!

  • @quantumdoom

I have to say I agree with you, and my steering (esp turn-in) seems to be very rough because of this. I did change the setup since then by adding more front df and that really helped a lot. my sway bars were stock in the video.

  • Too much steering input at the apex in some corners. (notice the sudden immense screeching when you input more steering in the corner) Thats only going to scrub your tires clean and slow you down.

a few laps out with an instructor would clean up those habits.

  • Don't you have a horrendous push?

  • @rveer

I do...trying to change my setup to smth that will rotate better, as well as improving my driving :) any suggestions? thx

  • @darylcha

I actually have the same problem that's how I recognized it.......From what I saw on a few corners your turn in has a push but on exit your loose, throttle induced. Turn in is basically shock adjustments In my case I had all shocks set on 5 on a 1-15 scale. Changed the fronts to 3 left the rears at 5 and the corner entry push is gone. Hope you can do the same?

  • @darylcha Did you say that the hard top had something to do with your understeer? Is she understeering in low or high speed corners? Thank for any input. I'm looking to set up my s2k and it's a concern of mine.(looking for a ever so slight oversteer.1)

  • @TheeBoss87

No the hardtop does nothing to understeer imo. The understeer is on both low and high speed corners, but low speed is likely to be driver error/induced. The high speed is from lack of front downforce which I worked on since then but never came around posting a new video.

  • @darylcha did you use canards or splitter?

  • @TheeBoss87

I have the ASM canards and lip. The lip is kind of a splitter design, and I can feel the difference with it, but I wouldn't call it anywhere as effective as a legit splitter. I did "complete" the ASM setup with a custom front undertray that featured venturis at the wheel-well and extended to cover the entire engine bay, and that was a really awesome setup. I highly recommend an undertray for this kind of setup.

  • Thats some damn good driving Daryl. (its FFS Lee)

  • Wow.... awesome ....

  • congrats man!!!!!!!! dude your driving is so much smoother now it is amazing.

  • Wonderful driving

  • I agree! Wish I could make my S do that...

  • GOOD SHIT MY FRIEND!!!! I LIKE IT!

  • Great driving! You have an 06+? How's the throttle response with the DBW?

  • MY07. I've never driven non-dbw, so I have no comparison, but my friend with an 02 says dbw is a lot more dull...

  • nice job gbst!
