When I started playing this game I first thought Zant would have a demonic voice or one close to a mid evil Darth Vader hehe the helment mainly, until I heard him exhale into Midna's ear then corrected to a calm and smooth voice that just spells poisonous snake and then even that was replaced by a whiny little girls voice when you confront him in the twilight realm

Plus, I think that the only people who think of a Midna-Zant relationship just read into things too much. Zant's attempts to persuade Midna to help him at the Lanaryu's chamber were just standard "Insane Man tries to convince Moral Hero to turn to the Dark Side" actions, however much it looked like he was hitting on her. It was just to help get the sinister seduction mood in place.
