unless your a teenager this phone is way way better than the sidekick. just all the way around. more reliable. the sidekick is a cell phone - the curve is a blackberry. i've got one coming in the mail as we speak. the crackberry forever!!!

i like this phone, but having a wifi with a wap quality browser... umm, i saw it but not very well on the video, can you see all the pages you want? like myspace or youtube, etc?

Yes, but only via wifi-browser (in a BB with wifi, ofcourse), but you cant use any BIS-compliant program without a data plan :-(

almost programs from BB need a data plan in order to work with the net (such as gmail, facebook, flickr, twitterberry, etc)

Im from palm/treo world, this is my first blackberry device and its VERY good compared to the old (but more friendly) palmos/treo smartphones :-)

I recommend you the BlackBerry if your carrier haves a good data plan.

I read that the mini sd card is behind the battery. What happens when you remove the battery to get at the sd card?

you must remove the battery in order to get the sdcard, but you can put your phone in mass storage to get your files directly from the blackberry (via mini-usb, also for charging)

password keeper hold all passwords for various things that you want, i.e. bank details, pc login, etc, etc. But, don't dare forget the password to get into it, you only have 10 attemps to get in, after that it wipes it clean..
