yeah it doesnt sound like youre playing it right. it should flow off the fingers alot better, i dont have my guitar with me rigth now, but i think you should be sliding UP to that CHORD that your playing not having to go back down the neck, and i dont thik there should be that bottom on the chord. also sounds like it should be comprise dmore of hammer ons/pull offs than the individual picking youre doing

ya, you are right. I was already sitting in the studio, and I had a session in about an hour after I recorded this. So I didnt want to mess too much with settings. It would be one thing if I was using a simple head or something, but I use a rocktron voodoo valve preamp and a 50/50 power amp. So it is a pain to change settings.

just like anything, you need to practice over and over. It takes a while, but it is a pretty simple technique once you get it down.
