I saw the movie and I have to say that Shawn Roberts did an excellent job on Wesker than his predecessor from Extinction. I was kind of upset that they made him die in the plan explosion. But after seeing the parachute falling away from the destruction I was very happy that he didn't lol I'm looking forward to seeing him (hopefully Shawn will come back as well) in RE5 with a real one-on-one (or two-on-two with Jill) fight with Alice :)

@whondsaname Sean Bean would have made a great Wesker as well, I agree. Loved him as Trevelyan in 007, another favorite video game. But, I can' t see Sean doing these actions scenes as well as Shawn Roberts. Like you said, everyone has their preference.

@whondsaname He was great as Wesker. The character I think he would've been the greatest at is Jack Krauser. Maybe because of his physique. I can see him as Re5 Chris as well. I think he initially tried out for Chris and I guess they wanted him as Wesker. Either role he would've gotten, he would have rocked it :)

@Alanuviel Yes, I know what you are speaking of. He has played gay parts, but it isn't nothing alarming. So has many straight actors. Leo Dicaprio comes to my mind. Just like a lot of gay men and women play straight parts. I know a lot of gay men admire him (can you blame them) so when you are searching for him, you may come across those sites. I can see why people may think he is gay.

I saw the movie and I have to say that Shawn Roberts did an excellent job on Wesker than his predecessor from Extinction. I was kind of upset that they made him die in the plan explosion. But after seeing the parachute falling away from the destruction I was very happy that he didn't lol I'm looking forward to seeing him (hopefully Shawn will come back as well) in RE5 with a real one-on-one (or two-on-two with Jill) fight with Alice :)

guys why do all of you think weskers dead in afterlife come on people dont u guys pay any attention to detail while alice and all the others arent looking and theyre focused on jill's oncoming umbrella assault you can clearly see (but i guess not since 99.9% of people dont pay attention) weskers parachute unknowingly falling behind where the explosion happened...hes not dead!

I think Shawn Roberts was born to play Albert Wesker. And he did a good job at playing Wesker. It's funny in this clip he seems to still be in character.
