Jews, or being Jewish, is only relevant insofar as Jewish culture has a tradition of egalitarianism and avoiding offensiveness. But eastern european and Italain culture also have a long history of egalitarian politics. Read Gramsci and the Frankfurt School. The only reason people target Jews on this issue is because they have been successful in the West, but plenty of other cultures have similar traditions. This isn't about 'jews', its about root philosophy and culture.
