  • wow u only use one layer for the whole drawing?

  • @chidragon60

first my pc is too slow for many layers. And second i dont like to use layers this is more closer to the real painting

  • you born to draw... espectacular , amigo

  • Legen...wait for it....dary

  • around 1 hr and 30 min to make and finish

  • great

  • No music. D:

  • @drakonimetal

use winamp or similar to listen your favorite music :)

  • @MOTHSimeonov I hope you like my choice: Irfan Seraphim - Hagia Sophia. Cheers from Brazil, your country is great! =D

  • @drakonimetal

for students and other seekers...without music is very helpful

  • how do you use glow to light up the brown spots, I used digital watercolor too, but it only lightened up the black lines i used to sketch it with.

  • @MarkCrilley13

watch on full screen and i think you will understand :)

  • @MOTHSimeonov I've looked multiple times a week and still can't understand what I'm doing wrong.

  • @MarkCrilley13 if you use digital water color before to use glow tool click on layers/dry digital watercolor after this yo can use glow tool

  • I'm a total beginner, and I'm just wondering:

What settings have you set your pencil to in doing your original outline sketch. (I know this sounds so simple, but I just bought a tablet and Corel Painter 11 and I'm having some difficulties transitioning from regular pencil to this). Such a beginner question.

Awesome work by the way. The approach you take is the sort of style I hope to adopt through learning everything.

  • @Y2KFreeYaa

i dont use pencil for my sketches

    i use digital airbrush

when i draw in painter i try do dont use too much tools only 3-4 tools

  • @MOTHSimeonov Would it be possible if you explain what setting you used for the sketch outline specifically? (And if you have time, what setting you used for the coloring in)? I'm impressed by this and just having real difficulty finding a tutorial that really goes through this carefully (most people speed things up).

  • @MOTHSimeonov well everyone has got their way how to do things but i think we all get to the same thing at the end, this is a nice one, i really like how u got control with the shadows to make 3d, nice one i like it, i like it :D

  • Could you do a tutorial on how to paint with corel, like going over brushes that you use and were u find them in that big mass of brush library lol. and maybe how to apply them O.O you really good. Love program but im having trouble starting into it.

  • @merccc1

    thanks man

in painter may be mot important is to find the brushes who work the best for you

you must try all of them and choose some

and some time for some special effect i use different brush when i use papers effect use chalk

  • @MOTHSimeonov I would like to learn of these brushes as they seem to get the effect I want. I would additionally use more brushes to find my own effect but Id really like to get these as a base start. Which brushes did u use and were they modified in any form. it looks almost like u did it in photoshop which is only part of what Id like to do.

do you change the colors each time you shade from dif values or do you burn or darken with darker values.

  • @merccc1 i use color palette to choice light and dark colors

and when the pic is ready i touch brightness and contrast little bit

  • @MOTHSimeonov I beg you XD please do a tut I love the program from what I see but im having SOOO much trouble painting with it than I would in photoshop XD I wanna learn, and I have been tinkering and tinkering to try and get this working like how yours is or find and setup brushes how i need T.T

  • @merccc1 i dont have a special settings for my brushes for this painting

i have only one edited brush but i dont use for this video

  • Nice Work!

what brush do you use in this drawing?

  • @jimrice881

simple water ,digital airbrush and glow

    thanks

  • Photoshop is better for photo editing, but with regard to digital coloring/painting Corel is far more capable. It gives the media the 'feel' that traditional mediums have, both in appearance and how they control.

  • @stultiloquy

    true

  • Is Corel better than Photoshop?

  • @xxning96xx

i dont know , for me painter is better but just for me some ppl like photoshop more

  • @MOTHSimeonov Yeah, I see a lot of people using Painter here... I wonder if I should change one XDD

  • @xxning96xx

if photoshop is more comfortable use it

but will be good to try and painter or you can use both :)

  • Very Nice! I really like it. :)

  • scary!

    good job! :)

  • nice work!!!

(please cheak my paintings and tell me about.. )

  • Amazing !!!
